About

The third Europa Universalis game offers the player to lead a major world civilization through the Early Modern era. Unlike its predecessors, Europa Universalis III uses 3D graphics instead of 2D.

Gameplay

The player chooses a country and administers its diplomacy, economy, military, and society. The game has an emphasis on development rather than war, and the combat system does not allow you to directly control the units. You can pick any time period from between 1453 and 1789 and any country from a roster of 300. Despite the series' title, civilizations are not limited to Europe.

The country's current leader and state of affairs are generated on the basis of real history. Once the player enters the game, however, the events are randomized and only depend on the player's actions. A new feature introduced in EU3 is that the player can hire up to three court advisors (EU’s equivalent to Civilization’s “great people”). Each advisor has his or her area of influence and helps to improve the empire’s science, culture, or army.

Expansion packs

Contrary to its name, Complete edition doesn't include all of EU3 expansion packs (it is Chronicles edition that does), but only two of them: Napoleon's Ambition and In Nomine. Napoleon's Ambition is set after the main game's timeline, lasts until 1821, and deals with the Napoleonic Wars. By contrast, In Nomine begins in 1399, and includes late medieval features like Byzantine Empire, Tamerlan's conquests, and the Hundred Years War.

Game of type minecraft in 2D. Nice to discover. By restarting a new game, we tend to Rusher the layers of equipment interressant. The worlds that have a random construct still remain predictable.

The joke, the provinces called "Pro #1748", bugs from everywhere in the events and in the menus that make the game very painful. A very good game in normal time but not this version, do not ask me why.

This Game works very well from the Game Mechanics. However, it doesn't seem to work as properly on Windows 10. The Game is constantly crashing and the Help in Forums has unfortunately brought nothing. Therefore, no Recommendation.

Good game but I would rather Orient people on his anteprized Europa Universalis IV which is accessible graphically even with little computer powerful but beware risk of lags... I do not recommend this game only because I recommend its anteprizer.

Very good Game with some Logic errors. If you Look beyond the poor Translation into German, you can find some small Logic Errors. For example, some Provinces are missing, especially in the HRR, and the Fleet is also poorly implemented. All in all, however, it is a good Game, which can be great Fun after the first puchsen.

On the complexity of the game, a lot of things have been said. Some of whom I am a part of, like, others do not like. What strikes me most, in EU 3, as in CK 2 or EU 4, is that the AI is too "obsessed" by the human player, much like in the first total war. Take any country, France or Brandenburg, and whatever your strategy, you will have compressors rolls for neighbors. And when the campaigns become predictable, when chance is discreet, the game loses its charm.

I think Europa universalis 3 is very good in principle because it's Fun And since graphics requirements are virtually non-existent and even more Fun to play with friends but the Game quickly gets boring as sometimes you just don't do anything for minutes as long as you just don't do anything. And so as the actual War between the Countries very rarely takes place. The worst thing about the Game, however, is the Multiplayer of the Game with great distance, just because it took us with 3 People 1 week to find out how we could even play together, which you just didn't find anything about the Topic and to be able to play together You have to send the Map to all the other players every time. Conclusion: Good Idea but still much to be improved.
