About

Since the incident on Shadow Moses Island, Metal Gear's top-secret technology has been leaked into the black market through the machinations of Revolver Ocelot. As a result, countless variations of Metal Gears have sprung up in every corner of the globe, making the weapon an increasingly common component of the armed forces of nuclear powers.
In the midst of all of this, Solid Snake, now a member of the anti-Metal Gear group "Philanthropy," has learned that a new prototype Metal Gear has been developed by the U.S. Marines and is being transported in secret to an unknown destination. To learn more about this new machine, Snake must infiltrate the transport, disguised as a tanker, as it makes its way down the Hudson River. Just as Snake is about to begin his mission, however, the ship is seized by a mysterious and well-armed group bent on stealing the new Metal Gear for their own, nefarious purposes.

It's incredible how forgotten this character is, I have seen at least one person defending, liking or just talking about each mgs antagonist except hot coldman. Even Huey is more popular for being a bitch ass prick

Really would like to re-experience the game without having to wipe all my progress. Even then there's some cutscenes I never experienced like the Ocelot training recruits

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty reviews and comments

Upgraded the stealth, delivered a solid but samey environment and absolutely blew peoples minds with the story.

«Time-tested»
This game raised my IQ by 15 points.

This is kino!
Man they threw us for a loop with this one
10/10 - A MASTERPIECE!!
«Can’t stop playing»
«That ending!»
Everything about MGS1 in higher fidelity. Subverted in interesting ways, MGS2 takes a couple playthroughs to "get" completely, which can be a problem for some. Ultimately, the well thought out (if insanely quirky) story and world make this game truly unique and unmatched in many ways, even today.

This game is considered to be queer. because you control Raiden and not the actual Solid Snake.
Somehow this game feels soft and squishy, because you are Raiden.
All in all it is a beautifully crafted game with spectacular ending which keeps you questioning.
Try out this game if you are into conspiracy theories, politics and skull suits.
LA-LI-LU-LE-LO Long live the Patriots.
