Post Scriptum reviews

For those looking for a WW2 Shooter, one before: Post Scriptum is not a Shooter! But I clearly see first-person shooter gameplay In the Pictures as I know it? Now PS is a Military Simulator with Mulitplayer Focus. So The Game tries a much more realistic Approach than other "Shooters" and is absolutely not comparable to a Cod:WW2 or BF5. Nor is it comparable to tactics shooters like Insurgency. This Game can play people who are really bad in other Shooters, because it almost no longer comes down to Aim/Skill and Reaction Time, but primarily on Communication (without Micro the Game is not playable, You can forget chat!) Teamplay on a grand Scale and Mapawareness arrives. Post Scriptum Is based on SQUAD and takes over many Elements of the Game. Still, Post Scriptum is slower as 95% of all Players have nothing but a Bolt-action rifle (and yes that's historically correct and no it won't be changed). Also, the Game is slightly more heavy than SQUAD. If you want to try this Game, please check out a Video from PS or Squad beforehand so you can get a rough Impression of what you're getting into. Then when it starts, you have to accept that you will die frequently, and do little Kills. That's just the way it is, this Game is not about your K/D, which is why you can't see it until the End of the Round. For entry, it is also advisable to visit one of the many German servers for those who are not so good at English. Find a Squad with a good squad leader who talks a lot and calmly tell him that you are Newcomers. The Only Important thing is that you are talking and ready to obey orders. The Rounds can take a very long time but a lot of Fun if you have found something in the Game and are on the road with a good Squad. The Game is a Niche Title and not for the general Public, so beware when Buying! However, the 2 Hours before the refund will not be enough to get an Impression of the Game. On the Subject of Bugs: The Game has not become Bug-free but after the Beta Very stable. There is still Air upwards, though. With me (GTX 1060, i-5 4670K With WQHD) I have no Problems getting 70-80 FPS at high Settings. I haven't had any since the Beta.

First of all, Thank you to those who gave this Game a Chance and tried it out this Weekend. I had a lot of fun Rounds with you guys and hope a few of you get stuck. However, there are a few Things to know who you are considering buying the Game: 1.) This Weekend some Rounds were partly immature as we had a lot of new Players with no Experience. 2.) The Key to Success at PS lies in the Communication and Maturity of the Players. Squad-leaders Communise with each other and then proceed accordingly with their own Squad. Therefore, you should definitely have a Microphone to experience the whole Game enjoyment. 3.) Teamwork, Each Squad has different Roles which of course have its own Functions, eg you as a Medic should not assume to score many Shots and yet it is with the most important Link in the Chain. Likewise, the Logistics that do not actually experience combat Operations, but are also a mainstay in Attack and Defense. 4.) Exercise, unlike most Shooters, you shouldn't assume to enter the Game and be able to clear everything right away. There are many Things you can only really master through Exercise Exercise. But who you have the Basics in and achieved Success is a great Experience. 5.) Time, depending on which Cards or Modes you play, you should like to plan an Hour for a Round. Finally, I would like to mention that the game can be quite frustrating, there is nothing more annoying than failing again and again at a defensive Position, but one should not forget that it is a Team Game who you are on a Front Forces binds create Gaps elsewhere at the same Time. You should never lose sight of the overall picture of the Situation. Hence my Recommendation to anyone who is willing to learn and willing to fit in with a Team and take Responsibility. PS:
