Anima: Gate of Memories is a third person action RPG that tells the story of two beings bound by an unwilling pact, an ancient monster and a girl who lost her past... Forced to stay together, their lives will take a unexpected turn when both discover that something darker than they could imagine is about to start, a war in the shadows in which they will have a leading role. Anima: Gate of Memories brings to videogames the world of Gaia from the Anima: Beyond Fantasy RPG table-top books. You will enjoy a deep and multifaceted story where your choices and actions directly impact the journey and decide the fate of the characters.Dual charactersIn Gate of Memories you control two different characters, Ergo and The Bearer of Calamities, and you can exchange from one to another thanks to the special synergy they have. What makes this system truly unique is that both are not "physically" present at once, but we can invoke the other even in the middle of any action, continuing the movement and creating spectacular combos. Each character also has at its disposal a large set of special skills that you will be able to develop and customize as in a traditional RPG.Features • A deep and multifaceted story. Anima Gate of Memories reviews and comments

(Scroll down for english review) As someone who helped fund the Game at Kickstarter at The time, I'm very happy to see that it has become a very passable Title. After "Anima-Ark of Sinners" was quite nice, but with many small Flaws came along and Anima Studios cost more than it had recorded, I was really caught up on the worst, at Gate of Memories. In between I even doubted that it came about, but now I just sat here for a good 5 Hours and played with Fun. But let's start with the negative Stuff for the first time ... NEGATIVES-CUTSCENES Unfortunately, the Cutscenes are all stills with minimal Animation. This is only minimal, but it has struck me. -PLATTFORM-PARTS The Control is very sensitive. Platform Parts are really extremely strenuous as a result. I don't even want to imagine what that would be like with Keyboard. -KAMERAPOSITION First Of All, I have to say that 90% of the Game has a fully rotating Camera, but in some Places it is solid and it really bothers extremely. I got serious Damage against 3 Puppets that I could otherwise easily defeat. POSITIVES-ARTSTYLE Wen M at his best. The Artworks are beautiful and well understood in the Game. The Game is extremely colorful and beautiful to watch KAMPF The Fight is fluid most Of the time and you connect Combos quite well with each other. The only Dropouts here are Situations where 4-5 Opponents shoot at me at the same time. -STORY For anyone who doesn't know Anima, it's probably a very Thrown together story. Everyone else, however, will have some aha moments. -MULTIPLE ENDINGS I don't have much Experience about it yet, but I suspect it has a lot to do with how many Memories you collect and which Ghosts you free-but hey ... Multiple Endings are always good:) The Voice-acting is still a bit bad at first, but gets better on time. I would have only imagined Characters like Elienai less "loose" in their Way, but that's a personal Thing, after all. All in all, I'm really, really positively surprised. Let's Hope Anima Tactics Goes through to the second Round. -------------------ENGLISH VERSION----------------------As someone who has backed the original Kickstarter, I was extremely pleased how this game has eventually worked out. Ark of Sinners Wasn't the best of games due to its bad controls and gameplay and it cost Anima Studios more than it earned. So naturally I was very tical sceptical. I nontheless but I wasn't subject anything good. There are a few bad things about this game, as much as I love It, though. Cutscenes are silent. There are only minimal animations but no real action during a CS, too bad. The plattforming parts can be a drag, especially if you play with the keyboard. I can't even imagine those horrors and in a few places with camera, fighting is the worst. While you can usually move the camera, freely there are some parts where its locked and it makes combat the absolute worst thing. On the other hand I love the art style, the vibrant colors and the nice character designs. Combat is for the most part pretty nice and fluid, though you have to keep the field in mind or you will be bombed by shooting enemies. The story is nice for every fan of the franchise and you will love meeting some of the characters, though you might be unsatisfied with the voice acting changes. I known'T imagined Elienai quite so ... Outspoken. Voice acting gets better in the later parts, but seems really bad at first. Ergo has a very arrogant voice that is quite out of the top. The bearer is ... Well... bearable at first, but her frowning at Ergos comments makes her a lot more likeable. So-there are multiple endings. I haven't gotten any of them yet, but I guess they have to do with how many memories you find, before you take on a messenger and which ghosts you release. I am excited to find out. All in all, I am very pleased with how this ended out. Anima-GoM has brought me a lot of fun in the last 5 hours and I guess it will bring a lot more. Its not a triple A title, but for that price, its well done and worth its money.
