CAYNE reviews and comments

Review of CAYNE At CAYNE it is the Prologue of STASIS, a really great and very atmospheric Adventure (here my Review of STASIS). CAYNE was promised as a free Prologue as Part of the Kickstarter campaign, which would come later. Now the Chapter is here-but after Playing Through I am absolutely not sure if this is a Prologue. However, I don't want to say more about that, because I don't want to pre-empt the Story. The Game definitely remains wonderfully open and leaves a lot of Room for Pondering and Thinking. This as a small Warning, if someone doesn't like that; I think something like that is fantastic. ;) http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=855612539 CAYNE also works independently, but in my Opinion you should have played STASIS, because the two Games play in the same Universe and also belong together. As in the Main Game, there are again some PDAs with quite a lot of Text to find. Here you should take the Time for it (as well as in the Main Game), as a lot is revealed about the Background (a thick Atmosphere-plus). CAYNE is significantly shorter than STASIS and I was through in four Hours (with all PDAs and a Look into all Corners). So The Game time is quite short, but since the Game costs nothing, you really can't complain. That being said, CAYNE puts a Spit on it with everything. From a technical point Of view, the Game looks a whole Corner better than the Main Game. The Main Character is now better animated and no longer walks so "angular" through the Area. A lot has happened in the Background, too, so CAYNE looks a little more modern (THE Engine has probably been significantly revised). However, the isometric Angle remains with the Game, you feel directly at home as a STASIS connoisseur and can get started. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=855612639 The Game has also gained in terms of storyterms. I really liked STASIS on the Point (some Players have mounted the Story weakening towards the End (I don't see it that Way) and those who are likely to like the Story development in CAYNE much better. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=855612606 There is nothing to complain About from the Technical Side. I was able to play with my slightly more betterable System (Core i7-2600k @ 4.5 GHZ, 12GB RAM, Geforce GTX 970 SLI) in 1080p with the Ultra settings (I always had over 100fps). Bugs or Mistakes didn't occur to me. By THE way, there is only one English Voiceover and German Subtitles (as with STASIS). My Rating: Graphic: 8/10 Sound: 8/10 Circumference: 3/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 Gameplay: 87%
