Essence (itch) (GainGoblin)

A prototype for a boss-battle top-down 2D shooter with a touch of rogue-like where your abilities are randomised each playthrough.

Created during brackeys game jam 2021.2.

The game has only one bossfight and a few abilities to play around with, but the plan (if we would put more time on development) was to put in more bosses, more abilities and more features (such as showing abilities and upgrades on the left side of the screen, in a risk of rain-inspired fashion).
