「Expiration Date of Words」 is a short visual novel about a girl who wakes up in a place named 「Timeout」 after experiencing her father's death, due to a car accident. Here, she meets a mysterious figure who declares themself 「The Time」. 

~ The Story ~

The protagonist's father gets into a car accident. Unfortunately, he doesn't make it alive. 
The protagonist receives a call from the hospital that her father has passed away...
She quickly gets ready and leaves her house.
After arriving at the hospital in panic, she waits for a staff member to escort her to her dead father's corpse. 
After seeing his two closed eyes, she loses consciousness.

"Yo!"

Who could this be? Prominent black eyes with gross veins...and rigged blue overalls...?
*blink* now it's a person with six eyes.
*blink* now it's an...orca???

Apparently, it's 「The Time」.

"Time heals all wounds," he says.
The protagonist's pain from the experience in the hospital suddenly goes away in a blink of an eye. 

"...h...how did you...?"
"Told ya. I'm Time."
