In-depth Game Dev Tutorials for Unity 3 & 4If you've been dreaming of making a computer game then you've come to the right place. GTGD S1 is an in-depth set of video tutorials through which you will develop an awesome little multiplayer FPS from scratch, using Unity free. I've designed these tutorials for beginners so you won't be lost. Check out my YouTube channel to see my teaching style.

ATTENTION: With the release of Unity 5.1, GTGD S1 is now obsolete, so please don't buy this unless you're really keen to study a piece of history, or support my efforts. I have a new series in development, GTGD S3 and it should be available on Steam February/March 2016. You can watch it as I roll it out on my YouTube channel right now.

This package has the added benefit of all video by video project folders to make it easier for you to debug your mistakes and accelerate your learning. You do not have to purchase anything, not even this video tutorial package to study GTGD S1.

GTGD S1 was made with Unity 3.4.0 and it works fine in Unity 4 with some minor edits to the code. Video S2.2 explains what bits of code need to be changed.LauncherS1 comes with a fast launcher that gives you quick access to all S1 resources. The launcher will open the video tutorials in your default media player. Videos are in 720p.My Other WorkGTGD S2, the sequel to GTGD S1 is out and I've also released my game, Guild Commander.GTGD S2Guild Commander

I'M a programmer, not that beginner, better to say well-oriented in various YAP. I can quickly learn different programming languages because I understand the principles on which everything is built. But This is not about my skills and abilities, but about this wonderful set of video tutorials. I wanted to start learning some kind of engine on a real example. There Was an experience with XNA, but since there were no ideas, I did not develop in that direction. But Unity is another topic. 3D graphics allows you to give the will of fantasy and do something unusual, especially with such good video lessons, the benefit of my knowledge of English. So, all the same about the product that you get. This is a set of video tutorials with a total duration of about 30 hours. In my opinion it will be useful for both novice developer and already established game developer. At least The material is very accessible. The good news is that only free software is used. As to the fact that the video of the first season available on YouTube can say something I could not buy on Steam it, but I do not regret spent money because I am happy to support the developer. Pros:-Free SOFTWARE; -Unity3D-really cool and popular engine; -Detailed Tutorials. Cons personally for me is not, English can be written to the cons of the buyer, not the product. Rating: 10 lines of code out of 10.

"GTGD S1: More Than a Gamer" is, in my Opinion, one of the best, if not the best, Tutorial for Beginners in which Games-Development with the Unity Engine is explained. If you have the Knowledge of the normal school English, you should definitely understand the Tutorial very well. He explains it all slowly, intelligibly and in detail, perfect for Beginners. You learn a Lot and you also get a good Insight into what some Elements of a Game need for a Development Time, even though they seem simple in the Game. So If you want to start being more than just a Player and also deal with the Matter Behind it and use it later or develop it yourself, you've come to the right place. I thought the Tutorial was so great after a few Hours that I bought the Series 2 (GTGD S2: Just One Dev). It's worth hitting here, because the Price is absolutely worthwhile for such a Tutotial! So If you want to support him, because he does his Thing great, buy it on Steam, otherwise you can also watch the Videos for free on his Website or YouTube channel: http://www.gamertogamedeveloper.com/gtgd-series-1 Here is the second Part. As a Beginner, this one Is recommended to only connect to the Series 1 and not start with it. GTGD Series 2: Just One Dev: http://store.steampowered.com/app/292350/?l=german
