Imscared is a metahorror game that protagonizes the player, putting him in a surreal first-person experience. Find keys, open doors and search for the exit to this nightmare. But I need to let you know, it will try to deceive You as many times as it can.

Please read carefully the explanation when beginning the game for the first time, it's really important to do so.
KNOWN BUGS AND FIXES
Some systems may require DirectX updates for the game to work;
Force your laptop to use your GeForce: Some computers have dual graphics cards such as an on-board Intel HD card and an Nvidia GeForce graphics card. The game might be using the "wrong" graphics card, and forcing the PC to use the other one on IMSCARED.exe can fix graphics issues;
Windows 10 often recognize IMSCARED.exe as a virus: this causes the game to refuse creating files;
The game needs your root to be C:\, other roots COULD give problems for the game to create files on the Desktop. At the time I write this, a solution to this issue is still to be found;

"Breaking the 4th Wall" Game. The Game plays with one. I love something like that and was able to get over the lousy Graphics and the lousy controls at the Beginning (you constantly stick to something and don't know what) and the Try/Error Game principle. In The Labyrinth, though, I was then too doof. Finding Ways while constantly hanging on the Walls is just not a good current Game principle. And No the Price (€2 in the Sale) is not one of the Decision Criteria for me. Too bad because Stanley Parable/SuperHot Are among my absolute Highlights.

For what it is, I Think IMSCARED has succeeded really well. It scared me back and forth, despite very simple Graphics (largely by the Sound) and generally includes a very sombre Atmosphere. I also think very well how the Game operates outside the Game (Folders, Text files, YouTube). There are tricky puzzles here and there, which are sometimes not so easy to solve and which challenge you a lot. I find negative that the Puzzles are sometimes actually too tricky and sometimes you have to think about a lot of Corners in order to actually come up with a Solution. I often had the Problem that I just didn't know any more and had to go to a Complete Solution. NOTE SPOILER!!! Plus, the Ending is laughable. All in all, an interesting Little horror Game with some Shock moments to have fun with. However, the negative Points should be fixed!
