About

Ittle and Tippsie crash onto yet another island filled with loot, puzzles and mysterious inhabitants! With the help of a magical map, they set out to steal eight pieces of a raft from increasingly improbable locations including beaches, prairies, an art exhibit and some dude's basement.
Ittle Dew 2 is a charming and humorous 3D Action Adventure game with a focus on exploration and combat. Tackle the game’s dungeons in any order and discover the many secrets of its expansive overworld. With only four main weapons, combat and puzzling is streamlined, yet upgradeable inventory items add RPG-like character progression!
Features:
● Who needs a map, anyway? Tackle the first seven dungeons in any order you want, and use items to open various shortcuts within! The craftiest of adventurers know there’s more than one way to open a locked door…
● Characters are now in true 3D! With a bright art style and tightly focused gameplay, Ittle Dew 2 takes everything that was great with the original Ittle Dew and adds what was missing – more exploration and content, vastly improved movement & combat, lightweight RPG elements such as upgradeable equipment, and randomized world events!
● Discover four weapons that double as puzzle solving items, and upgrade them by finding additional copies of that item!
● Locate “Secret Shards” to unlock additional challenging secret dungeons!
● Utilize warps as a mode for fast travel throughout the overworld!

Ittle Dew 2 reviews and comments

More Reviews are available on my Curator Page Ittle Dew 2 is a Top Down Action Adventure, which is very oriented towards 2D Tent games. The Aim of the Game is to collect eight Raft Parts in order to come back down from the Island on which Ittle is stranded. Each of these Raft Parts lies at the End of a Dungeon, which function as in Zelda. Collect Keys, solve Puzzles and defeat the Boss to get hold of the Collection item. Each Dungeon also contains a Dungeon Item, which is needed to Complete. The Dungeons can be completed in any order. If a particular Item has already been found, Shortcuts in the Dungeon can be unlocked. Furthermore, There are many Caves hidden on the Upper World, which, after Solving the Puzzle, give an Item. Be it a Tigh-rate Upgrade or an Improvement for another Item. The Combat System is not the best. While it plays like it's in a 2D Zelda, it feels worse. On the One hand, a Sign is missing To fend off Projectiles and on the Other Hand, you don't beat opponents far enough away on a Hit to Get to safety after the Blow. As a result, you suffer a lot of unnecessary Hits. A much bigger Problem, however, lies in the Game's Puzzles. While the first Dungeons are still trouble-free, there is a Problem in the later Dungeons that the Game likes to violate its Design and demand Solutions that should not be feasible. As an Example: The Game is built as a Grid and all Things are built in such a way that there can only be 4 directions. In later Puzzles, however, it is demanded that Stones should suddenly be pushed Diagonally. There is no Indication in the Game that this is possible, either visually or by Text. This causes a lot of Frustration as as a Player you can't assume this works as it goes against the Basic Design. The Boss Fights are not very well designed either. They do not require the Use of the Dungeon Items, nor do they fit very much with the Combat System. The Bosses belong more in an Action Game and less into a Celebrate. Only the Story boss is designed to match the Combat System. Graphic The Graphics are in Comic Style and look very simple. This is particularly noticeable in the Case of Character portraits. It doesn't bother the Fun of the Game, but it doesn't look particularly good either. Verdict Ittle Dew 2 is a mixed Game. On the one hand it is a relatively solid Zeldaklon, but on the other Hand it also has many Problems in the Design, which cause a lot of Frustration when you see the Solution. You can still take a look at it, but you should remember that Things are possible that contradict the Basic Design.
