About

RaceRoom Racing Experience is a free-to-play racing simulator. It houses official race series such as DTM, WTCC and ADAC GT Masters, but to get access to all content players are bond to excruciating grind. It can be avoided by paying for each little piece in the in-game currency that players purchase for the real money.

Simulation in this game is on the point: developers worked with real racecar drivers to fine-tune the small details such as tyre modelling and suspension physics. You can compete using with bots in singleplayer sessions and fight real racers during multiplayer ones on 25 real-world tracks. The park of cars consists of major brands: BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Chevrolet, Ford, McLaren, Pagani, RUF, Radical, Volvo, Saleen and developers plan to enlarge it. To properly feel the speed players might need a gaming wheel: the game still supports all kinds of inputs, but the most compelling experience is with the wheel.

RaceRoom Racing Experience reviews and comments

After more than 600 Hours of Project Cars 2, I once again dealt with RaceRoom ... And it seems to me like I've been playing with a Baby Saassel all Along. This Game (?) is clearly "adult" In matters of Realism. With the right Attitude, if you have found it, the ForceFeedback On my Fanatec Steering Wheel is extremely good, the AI fights for Places, the behavior of the Cars is (from my Point of view) very realistic. It's really Fun (with VR) to drive across the different Racetracks and enjoy The racing Atmosphere ... Unfortunately, I don't have Time forever and that's why I put together my own Races in Single Player myself, where you can determine the Race length and other Settings yourself. It's unbelievable how the AI reacts. At the Moment I have set Strength of AI to 99% and drive the GT3 Class. Those drive as realistically as they were human Opponents. It's extremely Fun. You should try this before giving negative Reviews ... The Multiplayer Mode could be More Entry-level. It's all pretty cluttered and you're rather deterred to joinen a Server because it's not immediately clearly recognizable whether a private or public Lobby. I wanted User-friendliness to be something like Project Cars 2. For me, as a "Medium Range Driver" at an upper-age age,,, a great Simulation! I don't miss out on the In-game purchases, because anyone who appreciates the Game (?) also likes to spend a few Euros on Tracks or Cars.

RaceRoom Racing Experience is the best Racing Simulation on my PC at the moment. The Game is becoming more and more developed and NOW there are also the DTM 2015 and ADAC GT championships, but for a fee-based Download. The Driving Sensation is absolutely cool, the Graphics are good, they seem very natural and not as come-juice as in Assetto Corsa. The Sound of the Cars is the most realistic Sound I have experienced in a Racing Game so far. Raceroom will make the Competition look old in the Future. There are many DLC Packs for the Game. On the Positive side, you get your purchased DLC if you want to buy similar DLC's as you already own. (E.G. DLC-Packs with already available Routes.) Thus, the Prices are always tailored to one in person. That is very fair solved I think. And if you don't want to buy anything, you create yourself in the free to play version, your own Races and Championships. The Performance is also very good, I play with a Core 2 DUO @ 3.0 Ghz and GTX 750Ti On high Settings standing liquid. I can recommend this Racing Game to anyone! Update 02.06.2015 Again, a huge Patch has appeared, which improves and optimizes countless Things. Here's my Impression of this Update: The Sound of the Cars is even more than before. Loading Times have shortened significantly. The Menus are better arranged than before. Some Graphics and Shadow Bugs have been eliminated. The AI has gotten a lot better and doesn't shoot one the way before. The Performance has improved a bit again and also the Graphics or lighting on some Tracks have been celebrated. In addition, a new Function has been added to the graphics setting, where you can adjust the Visibility of the Cars on the Track, which is a good Option for weaker PCs. I'm excited about this Racing Game. Conclusion: Anyone who is only halfway interested in Racing Simulations and has so far ignored the Game must strike now! Rarely experienced a Racing Game where the Developers still put so much Effort into constantly moving the Game forward. There is only one minus Point and that is the missing Offline mode. You always have to be connected to the Internet to start the Game. Review Booth 10.11 2016
