About

Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell is an action-adventure game, a standalone DLC that serves as an epilogue to Saints Row IV. The Boss is taken by Satan to Hell in order to marry Satan’s daughter Jezebel. Saints lieutenants Johnny Gat and Kinzie Kensington follow them to rescue The Boss. You can play as one of the lieutenants.
The game is set in an open world of New Hades, consisting of five islands, that you can explore flying around. This world is full of side quests, collectibles and other activities that you need to complete to progress through the story. While you can’t customize your character, you obtain superpowers, including summoning demons to support you during the battle, magic aura to confuse enemies, and demon weapons. The core gameplay is third-person shooting but with a twist: instead of bullets your new guns will shoot with explosive toads and locust.
In general, Gat Out of Hell follows the spirit of the franchise, supporting its fast pace and absurd tone that turns another mafia game in a colorful burlesque.

The Game once again offers a twisted Setting in the Saints Row universe, which you have to like in order to have Fun with the Game. It's also a Pity that I can't design my Character myself (Appearance, Clothes). In the End, the Game runs out of air a bit, especially if you get distracted by the many Side Tasks. Achievement junkies can spend over 20 Hours in the Game. Real Highlight is the Disney style musical. Just popped through. Respect for this Idea and its Implementation. Thumbs up!

Those Who liked Saints Row 4 will also like Saints Row: Gat out of Hell. It's Fun, funny and you can enjoy yourself in Hell. Unfortunately, I have to say that this Part would have been completely enough as a DLC For Saints Row 4. If you just Play through the Main Missions, you are ready after a good three or four Hours (you arrive at how much you collect on the side). Of course, you can also do all The side missions, but they get boring after a While and often repeat themselves-you also know from Saints Row 4, only that I felt less Boredom while Searching and Collecting there. So, the Game is not bad, but I would recommend buying it once it is on Offer. It's not really worth it for 15 Euros, even if I think it's a shame that I have to put it that way, because I really like the Game Series.

This Stand-alone Add-on is something for in between. Especially primarily because of the enormously tight Playing Time of something around 9h. In Any case, I am 97% after this Time and have completed almost all the Collective Tasks. Is that Worth it? Well, as Saints Row fan is enough. Except you really don't get too much for it. The Area is small, the Missions few and Side Tasks do not exist much. You notice the Status of a small Expansion. At a small Price, however, you can buy it quietly if you can't get enough of the Row. The Humour, as always, is the same and not all too twisted here as in the fourth Part. That may be due to the smooth Playing Time. Many Cutscenes are not available here, where Jokes are likely to appear in it. And I was left hanging only by the (grandiose!) Musical Scene. Also, the SPiele with predefined Figures is different than with your own. There are no Customization options at all. Not towards Clothes either. Cars are also not tuned, but they are also more than just an Accessory. Moving can be used predominantly with the Wings, who needs a Vehicle? I had Fun with my Kurzweiligen and liked to pay €13in the Shop (yes, outside outside the Door and not at Steam). As I said, it is recommended for those who want to have it all from Saints Row. For a moment, it is not exactly worth it, and I would not call it a major Enlargement.

I haven't played a Saints Row game before but as far as this expansion goes, you don't need to. I started this game just as an intermission before starting a big game and instead of having just mindless fun I was thrown to a boring, tortuous and repetitive fest of broken gameplay and sterile story.

The thing is really over the top and it has like 2 or 3 funny lines but that's it, in order to advance the "story" you need to fill a meter which can be filled with some random missions or challenges (minigames), the problem is that there are like 5 different minigames and you have to repeat them over and over to fill that meter, or you can just mess around which also fills the meter but slower.

Nearly at the end of this torturous game, I was really thinking about quitting it but I played all the way through so you don't have to. It took for me to finish this thing like 5 hours that seemed more like 20, I don't know how people are saying in other reviews that you can play this thing more than that, but hey, is OK to have bad taste. In the middle of the storyline, there's a musical number which is kind of fun until it overstays it's welcome but that's why this review is 1 instead of 0.

Mostly a complete shell of SR4 and a buggy mess. Barely any story and just mostly recycled side quests. Shallow. Very Shallow.
