About

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a game about a ninja (or shinobi, as they call it), who is seeking revenge in the Sengoku era Japan.

Plot

The game is set in the 16th century in a fictionalized version of Japan. The main protagonist is a member of a shinobi clan. A samurai from the rival Ashina clan captured the protagonist's master, and the protagonist himself lost his arm trying to protect his leader. However, a sculptor of Buddha statues managed to replace the lost limb with an advanced prosthetic arm. The protagonist accepted a new name, Sekiro, meaning “one-armed wolf”. Now his goal is to avenge his clan and to save his leader from the hands of their enemies.

Gameplay

The player controls Sekiro from the third person view and navigates the character as he fights multiple enemies. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice features an innovative combat system that doesn't use hit points. Instead, the opponents can be killed with a single precision strike. However, the player has to fight his or her way through the opponent's blocks and parries to land the deadly blow. The main character fights with his sword (katana) in the right hand, while his left hand can host a variety of upgrades, such as an ax, a torch, or a shield. The game also emphasizes stealth action. The player has to use a grappling hook to access multiple locations. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has no multiplayer.

Shadows die twice? This is a shameless understatement. Fromsoftware delivered something, the advanced gamer of today, did not even ask for due to lack of imagination. What a marvelous and beautiful world. Combat, so intense and dynamic... just epic. Of course there are a few negative reviews, cause some guys just have forgotten to respect a masterpiece of art. Don't take them too seriously, this game is fantastic. It is hard and unforgiving, but always fair. This is absolutely no game for whales, camper or exploiter. This is a game for those gamers with virtues like patience, endurance and attention. Shadows die so many times... but they won't give up!

It has already been announced and I can confirm it; It's hellishly heavy. But when you've killed the Enemies that have put you down a hundred times that have previously felt, you just feel great-because you know how many times you've tried and failed. You need a reasonable Tactic to kill your Opponents. Graphics are superb and the Sound atmospheric. Nothing to suspend. I'd rather play it with the Keyboard, but it's designed for Controllers. Have not played many Hours yet, but I already know one thing: Playing This Game to the End will be a big Challenge and Will cost an enormous amount of Nerves and patience. I look forward to!

Very good and heavy Game with great Story, absolute Recommendation. -Important, whoever expects a Dark Souls 4 with Sekiro May be disappointed. Sekiro has many parallel, but the Combat System is fundamentally different-The Sword Fights and Animations are epic-character cannot be designed, but The Game tells a great Story and has excellent world building-The Entry Difficulty is high as there are few Ways to make the Gaming Experience easier. For my Taste, the Sense of achievement was all the greater when I managed a Heavy Section-It took me for a run with a long end And all Areas about 50 Hours-there is no Interaction with other Players, which I found very pleasant-I Played the Game with Controllers and found the Controls to be very fluid and intuitive

Before I start, I have to say, I didn't have too much expectation for Sekiro, even if I'm a Souls Fan and was already hyped through first Trailers and teasers. Nevertheless, this Game has completely exceeded my Expectations and has successfully taken over the # 1 number 1 Of my Game list, in the Storm! Without having to think About it for a long time, Sekiro is a clear 10/10 for me, although not everything was perfect! Story 8.5/10 Music 6/10 Bossfights 9.5/10 Character Design 9/10 Game Mechanics 9.5/10 Atmosphere 9/10 Secrets 9/10 Mobility 10/10 Ways 9/10 Difficulty 9/10 Game Time 9/10 All these are just small Clues in my own Opinion and make for me in the Total Picture my Decision for Sekiro's 10/10 This Game was completely captivating for me and kept myself at my first Runtrough at almost 70std playing time because I wanted to enjoy it in every size. Stunning Boss Fights, great Atmosphere and especially new Ideas and a great Combat System! I Can only recommend! :)
Is hard to give a review to Sekiro because it has a lot of background behind and is difficult to not think about Souls or Bloodborne, but in the end, as bloodborne did in its own way, Sekiro is its own thing and is really good. Everything feels familiar but it plays and tells its story very different than its cousins, the combat is great and makes you feel like the previous games lack in that department but for me the story and its characters never grew to the heights of other FromSoftware games, although I was very reluctant to feel sympathy for its main protagonist, in the end I was happy to be at his side. The game gives you different difficulty settings in a very cryptic way as always, I played the harder mode and there's also a stealth mode which is the "easier" but slower mode, once you understand that you will prefer to dash through enemies and go berserk, because the stealth mode is kind of awkward and tedious. As far as the presentation, the graphics are good but not great, and aside from a few ones which are beautiful the boss fights aren't as remarkable as they could be, the music didn't work that good for me because maybe I'm very ignorant of Japanese music but I really couldn't tell apart that a lot of tunes, which is a shame because the main composers of the previous games are here. Even though is not that remarkable as the other FromSoftware games, is very good and better than a lot of other AAA games from another companies, I strongly recommend that if you're a FromSoftware fan check it out, and also if you are up to some challenge, is hard but not impossible and even you're almost alone in this game never forget to praise the sun.

That's the first thing you need to know and get into your head. This is another story, another genre even. There isn't personalization, nor different types of weapons or levels, this is not an RPG is an Action game. Starting from there, what has is its difficulty and a lot bosses. The game is very well balanced, is designed so you can not break, like you can do in the Soulsborne and pass the bosses without problems. Here you have to learn, there aren't "tricks ", but you can make it easy usingthe prosthesis of your arm, which you can upgrade with money and some ingredients. The enemies and especially the bosses usually have a weakness to any of these prostheses that you can get along the game. The other branch in which you can define your build are the habilities (active and passive) that you can buy it with skill points, obtainable by fighting or defeating some mini-boss. The best part of Sekiro is its mobility and verticality. Compared to the clumsy and unpolished movement of Darks Souls 1 and 2. Sekiro is a game that bases everything on its fast, agile and precise movement. Accurate are it's combats too, because it is based on the vast majority in the parry. The objective of the fight is to break the position of the enemy to make him a critic and inflict a lot of damage, while you are defending of their attacks avoid it or with a parry. But that's not all because the player has to avoid having his guard broken, because if this happens, you can not make any movement for a few seconds. The graphic part complies, it is beautiful but it is no technical accomplishment. What is noteworthy is that it is very well optimized and works without problems (at least in my case). And little else can be said without entering spoilers. PD: The sound of the swords is very cool. Photo Gallery (Spoilers): https://imgbox.com/g/nh0QdF0f6P
