About

The game takes place in the expanded Star Wars Universe, almost 4,000 years before the events described later in the films. The game begins on the ship "The Endar Spire ", attacked by the Sith fleet near the planet Taris. Player and one of the pilots, Carth Onasi, descend on the planet in an escape pod. Their primary goal is to find a Jedi named Bastila Shan, who commanded their ship. She has the mastery of battle meditation, by which the Republic has managed so far to withstand the onslaught of the Sith.

Knights of the Old Republic is the first computer game, which takes place in the author's world of Star Wars. Battles go through in real time, but they can be suspended at any time. The main character balances between good and evil, and each of his actions depends on his belonging to the Light or Dark sides of the Force, and ultimately the ending of the game.

In place of magic came the Force Powers that is vested in the Jedi, and they are divided into three categories: light, dark and neutral. Any Jedi can study any force that is sufficient for his level.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords reviews and comments

In my mind, the best licensed RPG experience ever created.
One of the best games you can get from a Star Wars game. The game unfortunately has a lot of cut content due to dev's time restrictions but a mod called TSLRCM mod which restores the deleted content as well as adds a 3rd ending to the game.

Hours of fun and tons of mods to play around with as well! This and KOTOR one got be into RPG games but not many of them even gets close to being as good as KOTOR games.

The game that got me into RPG's and the best game to be ever made (along its prequel). You'll get addictive playing it. I now bought Kotor 1 to complete the experience. Buy Kotor I + II and just love it. I r8 8/8 m8 buy it before it's too l8.

There's a small Advantage, if you get into a Series later, you can leave all the experimental Spam behind and focus on the essentials, so it's apparently with Knights of the Old Republic, The Sith Lords. For me almost too old Graphics, but the draught and the Possibilities make up for, I was not promised too much by. The System behind It is Skimmed off Baldurs Gate and just so perfect, pretty fully grown overall.

In my Opinion, one of the best Role-playing games ever. The Story is unpredictable and evolves differently depending on which side of the Power you choose. The Companions react to this, of course, but also to the Gender of the Players, for Example. There is even one Companion for female Or male player characters. By not being able to make it right to everyone, you don't end up with a particularly deep Relationship to some, so they don't want to tell anything about their Past. But Since all Figures have an interesting Background and the Information also strengthens the Player directly, of course you want to know everything. For the Reasons, there is enormous Replay value. The Capsule System is a little old baked These days, as it is based on the old rude-based Cube system, but it is graphically staged quite nicely for the time; So Light Swerage Owners fight against each other with the familiar Soundscape and you really see who has just landed a Hit without looking up the Values in The Combat Log. Still, the Action can't be compared to the Combat System of Mass Effect or the like, where it plays a Role in HOW well you can aim, with KOTOR you really only give Commands. The Dialogues have succeeded well, unlike some newer Games, it really does matter what you say, and if you are gratuitously patchy towards your Friends, you can also unfriend them very quickly, which is also gametechnically relevant (see above) Conclusion: Who likes The Predecessor of Mass Effect, in which you don't have to shoot yourself, certainly does nothing wrong here and is a Must for Friends Of old Role-playing games anyway. Personally, I find the Story and Vans even better than in the first Part. As a Tip last but not least: If you have Problems with crashes, you should bring the Resolution to a 4:3 Format, then finally in a Window, at least with me fixed all the crashes

This game is just not finished. The beginning is very promising but the further you go the less sense makes the story. Closer to the end the plot forgets about most characters, rushes through final bosses and that’s all. I guess, the developers didn’t know how to end the game so decided not to finish it at all. So, as an unfinished project, this game doesn’t deserves its money. Trust me, you’ll miss a lot of content and will be disappointed with the finale.
Can’t say anything bad about this game. It’s old but worthy to play even years after the release. Knights of the Old REpublic is a perfect RPG in the Star Wars universe, with a deep story and excellent music. The combat here is awesome too - it feels like a real fight with the weapons that have weight and so on. Though the visuals are out of time a little bit now the game stays one of my favorite Star Wars titles ever.
