Toy Quest

This game was made in 2 weeks for the Cozy Autumn Game Jam 2022. In this game, you play as a group of children's toys that want to make a Halloween costume for their kid while she's at school.

Controls

Arrow keys / WASD - Move

Z / Space - Next dialogue or use current toy's ability

X / F - Switch which toy is currently selected

Esc / Tab - Open main menu

You can also use a gamepad, but you'll still need a mouse for the menus.

How to Play

Collect the 5 craft materials by recruiting new toys and using their abilities to traverse the room. To start, you only have Rupert the teddy bear whose ability is to talk with other toys, but if you play Erika's favorite song on the keyboard for Flip the frog, he will join you as well. Move Flip to the front of the party by pressing X and then press Z to jump. There are 5 toys to recruit in total, each with their own unique ability.
