Bad North: Jotunn Edition review
by Ali Sabyr

The gameplay of the game is easy to understand. In this game, we are given control over several units that move from island to island. On each of the islands there are houses that we have to protect, moving units back and forth in real time. The islands are cute and each one is different (procedural generation is beautiful). Well, the atmosphere of something Norwegian, northern, instantly draws you along on an unusual journey.

Sleek graphics and a trance-inducing atmosphere. Non-linearity: you yourself choose the path you will take and are responsible for the risks yourself. Difficulty: The game challenges you. This is not an arcade strategy - you have to strain your brain. Easy to Learn: It's quite easy to learn how to play. AAAMZING!

Popular Review: "Bad North is a good strategy game which combines tower defense and roguelike elements. The game has decent soldier upgrades, a huge map and enemy variety, but lacks repeatability."

My Review: The mechanics are rock paper scissors with a little extra depth thrown in the form of utilizing your archers, shields, pikemen in different formations. The campaign took me about 6 hours which I played through in a single day. So, I can easily recommend it.
