Popular Review: "A clever time loop setup devolves into frustrating repetition." - PC Gamer

My Review: I love time loop stories and have been excited for this ever since it was shown at E3 2018, but this was just way below my expectations. I went in open-minded, understanding that this would be a "short" game, that the game would take place within the same three rooms, and that it'd be repetitive each loop. But even then, I just look sit back and look at everything in the game and think "that's it?" Don't get me wrong, I did get one or two good moments of various emotions, but I don't think it did anything "unique" when it comes to the time loop genre, or anything with the story that kept me invested enough to finish it. I really wanted to like this game and was so excited to play it the moment it released, but I'm just left with disappointment, and the desire for something more out of it.

First two hours was amazing experience then you realize this is puzzle game and puzzles have only one way to solve. In a normal game this is something you can expect but in this game you feel like you really have an option to play game but you don't. You should play this game how developers wanted you to play. I still believe everyone should at least play this game but you don't have to finish it.

Quite possibly the worst game I have ever played, technically flawed, terrible performances, and a truly objectionable story.

This was great fun. I saw a trailer to this a year before it released and it definitely peaked my interest. I ended up playing it day one on game pass. Unfortunately I didn’t sleep that night. I was too busy trying to beat this game.

As soon as everything kicks off. It dosent stop. The game likes to throw you into a curveball. That by the end honestly made me shocked. The ending was something I would have never ever expected. James McAvoy was brilliant in his role and so was Willem Defoe and Daisy Ridley.

Great indie game. Love to see more from the dev at some point in the near future.

Some stupid twists, and makes you do some pretty uncomfortable stuff, but I think its a fun puzzle to solve.
Amazing story and easy gameplay is what obsess me in game world. You need to be patient while playing this masterpiece.

I'm a sucker for time loop games and movies. It made this one an easy choice and I had a lot of fun with it. The game takes place in a tiny apartment, which means trying everything doesn't take too long.

Enjoyment: 7/10
Recommendation: It's short. It's fun. If you have Game Pass there's no reason not to!
This is an extremely unusual game.
I don't even know how to describe this piece, but this is definitely an extremely emotional story. I spent more than 3 hours in the game, and I was disappointed with only 2 things, a small number of endings and the illogicality associated with wife's book.
A good game, but halfway through I was really lost and mostly disinterested. A great concept though.
The ending is strange. The game is short
