by Basilio Guzmán Gómez

Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 PC Review (Finished on March 23, 2020)

Note* This collection contains Mega Man 7, Mega Man 8, Mega Man 9 & Mega Man 10

+Challenges are more doable than Legacy Collection 1.
+Charged buster is not lose after being hit. (Mega Man 7 & 8 only).
+Customizable controls.
+Cycle through weapons available in Mega Man 10.
+Difficulty selection in Mega Man 10 added.
+FMV introduced in Mega Man 8 was a nice addition.
+Improved graphics for Mega Man 7 & 8.
+Mega Buster and Boss weapon can coexist in Mega Man 8.
+Port optimization.
+Protoman and Bass can be selected in Mega Man 10. (Bass through a special combination though)
+Upgrades can be purchased with the help of bolts in Mega Man 8.

-Bad levels design overall. (Except Mega Man 8, which makes levels more interactive).
-Bosses still have a slight invincibility after being hit and still are battle twice. (Except in Mega Man 9 & 10).
-Cannot cycle through weapons in Mega Man 9.
-Checkpoint Save/Load mechanism is not efficient like the one from Legacy Collection 1.
-Cumbersome gameplay like if nothing changed from previous entries.
-Enhancements can be purchased in both Mega Man 9 and 10 but are not as good as in 8.
-Like in the games found within Legacy 1, there’s always a boss who needs reconstruction before be able to be attacked. That needs to stop because that is a big time waster.
-Mega Man 9 & 10 feels like a step backwards in terms of product quality.
-NES graphics for Mega Man 9 & 10 when it should be graphics like 7 & 8.
-No slide and Charged buster available in Mega Man 9 & 10.
-Noticeable input lag in all the entries.
-Once enhancements are obtained, they cannot be changed in Mega Man 8.
-OST not as good as in the games found in Legacy Collection 1.
-Rewind feature from Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 missing.
-Still weak to almost no story.
-Timer within the challenges should stop on boss presentations and epilogues. -Voice acting in Mega Man 8 feels very fake.

Megaman Legacy Collection 2, although it has fewer games than the 1, has many of the games little known, and that is worth gold, and personally the Megaman 9 is one of the most I like this list, so it is worth having , and although in the section of the Challenges, I think it is not as varied as the Legacy Collection 1, there is something that really pleased me about this, and I believe anyone mentioned so far and is the following: For the first time you can Fight Fake Man as Protom An on the side of Megaman 9. For The first time you can fight the Megaman Killers, Enker, Punk and Ballade with Protaken and Bass. Only for these Challenges that for me are a unique experience, worth much but MUCH worth this collection. Recommended.

Sometimes very short: I'm not a fereand long text, but I've always loved megaman and somehow the first megaman collection didn't want. Never does it, though, as I have them on my 3ds. Back to this part and let's start with the individuals: Megaman7: Pretty graphics and a not too high degree of difficulty, also had no problems with the boss outsourght man, who was a problem. To wily I can say noich nix, am grad with him and so far the fight against him is very very hard but that makes up the megaman row. Megaman 8: Very fair checkpoints and in animelook, sometimes something new in the series, otherwise as with megaman 7 only that here the bosses were easier, which only bothers me cut off this snowboard, which you only have to make in the frostman stage and at the beginning of the wily firming. Defeating Wily was easier for me than in megaman 7, but it can also be because you can go in sofrely and charged here. Megaman 9: This game hates me, no I don't exaggerate it, it's really hard and hard to create but I'll be clinging tight on the game and will also manage at some point only then I always die in the wily stage 2. Megaman 10: Momentan my favorite game from the collection Simply because it has an easymode that makes it a lot easier for me to play it. In Addition, the dlcs from megaman 9 and 10 have been completely taken over and so you can play in megaman 9 as protman and in megaman 10 as bass. This is joined by the original challenges as well as any suggestions, it would take too long to enumerate all that only so much: Time Attack Mode XD I can recommend it to all Megaman fans to buy it I did it and don't regret it a bit!
