I enjoyed it at the start but the more I played the more frustrated I got with cheap enemies and annoying, vertical level design.

Date Completed: 2022-09-25
Playtime: 18.5h
Enjoyment: 6/10
Recommendation: I'm on the fence. If you liked the first one, then keep going.
After 21 hours of playing, I'm giving up on this game. The content is too repetitive.

The map has plenty of different kinds of points of interest, but clearing them rarely gives you anything interesting. Just crap that you can trade for armor and weapons. Nothing unique or something that stands out. The world itself is very beautiful and the ruins look amazing. A couple of the logs I found were interesting.

There are some light RPG elements, but they didn't make enough difference to be interesting. The skill tree gives a couple of new abilities, but in general it's improvements on your existing abilities. There are some dialogue options, but they felt more like your attitude towards a situation and didn't feel like they had much impact.

The combat was the biggest disappointment. It was not as interesting as I expected it to be. Set some traps, shoot the weak spots. The enemies were not varied enough to make it fun.

After budgeting a good amount of time between release and actually playing this, I can confidently say that the backlash to this game is maybe the worst of all the non-troversies that have shook nerdom in recent years.

I thought it was unanimous that the strengths of The Last of Us were always its commitment to complex characters, a gritty, dangerous world where no one was ever safe, and a genuinely morally grey journey. The Last of Us' ending is not some edgelord fake-deep ending. It's messy, it's uncomfortable, it's gut-wrenching. Joel does not emerge a hero, he's just Joel, with more blood on his hands and just a shred of hope left. It's this experience that left the impact on fans.

While Part 2 may have a different kind of story, at the end of the day, it's still The Last of Us at its core. I don't see any of the strengths from The Last Of Us absent in Part 2. If anything they're here stronger than ever. The journey may be a  little darker and more complex, but it's always profoundly human in a way that few games are. Beyond that, gameplay has also been improved. Combat is highly energetic, kills are SO brutal, traversal is fun and intuitive. I was motivated to go at it again in New Game + (something I hardly ever feel), though I think I'm playing too many games right now to give that a go.

I still love Elli. Now I love Abby and Lev. I have no idea what they could do for Part 3, but I'd love to see them try.

Black Flag is an outstanding game that works more as a pirate game rather than an Assassin’s Creed game, however there are enough elements of Assassin’s Creed that it does not feel too foreign from the franchise. The main character Edward is one of the best in the series and his journey from selfish pirate to unselfish Assassin willing to take on his role as a father is a fantastic one that also has its slow moments. Although it is unfortunate that the moments directly involved with the Assassin Brotherhood feel like the games weakest moments the game feels more about Edwards journey about accepting the role of Assassin rather than showing his journey as one. The modern day segments are a bit slow but I do not mind them as much as others. Overall, this is a game I believe everyone should give a try.

Revelations is a terrific conclusion to not only one of the greatest video game protagonists, Ezio Auditore da Firenze but also a conclusion for the character from the original title, Altaïr Ibn-LaʼAhad. The final game in the trilogy begins with a wonderful CGI cutscene that transitions into a great first mission set to a beautiful score that really signifies that this is the beginning of the end of the story for both of these characters. Although there are some questionable gameplay additions like the very quickly tiring tower defense strategy mission by the end of the story you are left satisfied with how both Ezio and Altair were handled as well as where the future of the franchise is headed.

Where Assassin’s Creed II was a huge upgrade over the first game, I feel that Brotherhood does the final touches and improvements on the gameplay that truly defined what these early Assassin Creed games were. The tweaks to combat really make our character feel like a Master Assassin rather than the learner he was in the previous title. The story feels more focused than the previous two games and because you are already familiar with the character they immediately grip you into the narrative with one of the greatest openings to a video game that I have ever played. On most days Brotherhood is my favorite from the Assassin’s Creed Franchise.

Assassin’s Creed II took all the aspects that the first game did well and improved on it such as the gameplay and world design. The game also features one of the greatest video game protagonists through a compelling narrative set to one of the greatest soundtracks of all time. Although it may not be the first game, Assassin’s Creed II is what blew the franchise up to the levels that has allowed it to continue a decade later.

The first Assassin’s Creed spawned a great series but you can 100% feel that this is the first game. I would recommend people give it a try but the repetitive game play and lack of memorable characters aside the main who is not much of a star himself may not grip everyone. Give it a try when entering the franchise but if you cannot make it through just watch a recap and you’ll get all you need.

Funny
I quite like the idea of getting to know various girls and eventually do sexual activities with them.  There's no challenge, so I can focus on story.  Can't wait for more content!
The game is insane in some aspects. Art direction, sound design, graphics etc. But one thing hold me back and made me quit the game: level design fragmentation.

I feel like almost all areas needed something i didn`t have to proceed. 1 time for area is okay, but 2/3? I just lost my will to play because of thad (i played 6 hours)
The game is good. But is this God of War?

Well, the first time I played, I ended up quitting. Why? Because I found it boring. The hype and self-pretentiousness kinda ruined the experience for me. This time was different. My friend let me his Playstation 4. I played every main GoW and loved it, especially the third one. After that, naturally, I was curious about how Kratos would end up there and why. I also had sympathy for Kratos, which I didn't have before. I'm trying to say that GoW 2018 does not sustain itself alone. If you never heard about Kratos and has a good repertory of movies/book with similar Dad and Son Plot, It will not be enough to grab your attention.

Furthermore, I believe the game lost its soul. Yeah, they are trying to tell a new story - and I appreciate that. The problem is a major mischaracterization in-game. The point of view is a nice example of that. Sacrifice the gameplay in favor of the narrative was not a good idea when the script is not that good, like Last of Us, and the melee gameplay was going to get worse. And I say more, the RPG system here is weak as hell. What can I say more? well... mediocre dialog and a static story "progression" made me get angry sometimes.

But... I still recommend this game. The story is still interesting if you played the previous games. The gameplay is not dynamic, but fun sometimes. The dialog is not great but has its moments, especially when Kratos reflects on his past. The graphics were amazing, as was its optimization. 4K 40 fps looked amazing. There is much to talk about - good and bad things, but I'm sleepy. Happily, most of its problems were corrected in Ragnarok, so it's worth your time.

Isn't this game awesome?!

After playing osu! for approximately two years - 375 hours, I think I'm done with it. Because I'm tired or the game is getting worse? No. I'm just entering adulthood and time is getting limited. I will be back someday and I'm much happy for all the memories I had playing this, so I'll write a review telling you guys the actual state of the game and compare when I get back.

First of all, the gameplay. After playing so much FPS, I started playing CSGO and became fascinated by it. Why? Cuz the mechanics were simple but precise. And its sandbox elements never left the game without newness for too long, cuz players were inventing new things all the time, like smokes, game modes, etc. But... why I'm talking about CS in an osu! review? Because they have a lot in common. The osu! mechanic is simple, but so rich in creativity terms. The community evolves with it - look at the 2010 maps and compare them with the new ones. The difference is crazy. The premise "click the circles" is taken to the extreme. After some days of playing it, you will eventually understand how crazy deep the game is. Reading, tapping, aim, raw aim, and speed are elements that will drive you to your max potential. Aside from that, you have the mods. Hidden, Double Time, HardRock, Sudden Death, Easy and more make this game endless in terms of content. And if you are playing osu!lazer already, multiply these mods by 3, cuz there are many more available. You can always play a little off your comfort zone, challenging yourself, which guarantees you a lot of learning and confidence to try out new things in your life. If I'm a good nurse today, I can tell you osu! has a portion of responsibility in that.

The gameplay itself is enough to make you addicted, but there is another important factor: the community. Man, I love it so much. The content creators and pro players elevate the experience to maximum potential. Learn with the community, laugh about random moments, react and hype the plays of your favorite players and be happy about it is amazing. Even though I'm stopping playing the game, I'll never leave these guys.

Talking about the experiences I had, I downloaded osu! after hearing someone saying that it could help my aim (in 3D games... lol). After trying some maps, I uninstalled it cuz I was not interested enough to download new ones. After some months, my girlfriend send me a video of her cousin playing osu! at her house. He was playing something fast that got my attention immediately. I opened the game and saw his replay of Livelock Art -THE ORAL CIGARETTES (Eternity diff) and I thought to myself "I need to play like this". After 1 year and some months, I was able to play it with 1.15x DT with good acc and hit the diff spikes. But to do that, initially, I saw so many tutorials and learned about the game, the maps, and the skins. Everything was so new... good times. I love entering a new world and learning about it. That's what I love so much in video games. Also, I'll never forget when I became a 5-digit, learned steams and cross-map jumps. I was feeling like whitecat, I swear. Another thing that marked me forever was my 21yo birthday gift: a tablet. More specifically a Wacom CTL-472. Dude, I had to learn so many fundamentals again and I loved it. To my girlfriend: Nanda, eu te amo❤‍🔥.

Last, but not less important: the dev team. osu! is a game where I can say clearly that if you like it, you should support it. No ads, constant updates based on the community will, free skins, infinite content, and amazing UI. It's almost unbelievable how crazy good osu! is. And I'm only talking about one game mod. You still have Taiko, Catch, and Mania. The fact that they choose to not monetize the game like others and actually heard the community is crazy nowadays (they also communicate pretty well). Peppy and his team have my forever respect.

Anyway, I'll probably play osu! again, but independently of what happens next, this game will be in my heart forever - with all friends I've met in the trajectory.

See you next time.

Dude, this game was awesome. It was revolutionary about what mobile gaming could be.

I mean... it's hard to believe this came out in 2012 and was pretty playable on a galaxy s5 and iphone 5.

I would be sad, but at least now we almost have the could gaming working 100%, so good games to mobile is a reality.
