Michael Unsworth
Michael Unsworth is a video game scriptwriter, voice actor and senior creative writer at Rockstar.
Career
Unsworth started his career in the video game industry as an employee at Rockstar. The first project he took part in was 2008 open world action game Grand Theft Auto IV in which he voiced and wrote pedestrian dialogues. In 2008 racing game Midnight Club: Los Angeles he was also one of the dialogue writers. The other notable titles in which Unsworth served as a writer or a voice actor include Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony, Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned, Grand Theft Auto V and Max Payne 3 among other. Alongside Dan Houser, Michael Unsworth wrote the script for the 2010 Red Dead Redemption and its 2018 sequel. Both games met widespread critical acclaim. Journalists praised many of the games’ aspects including its story, characters, and dialogues.
