Anodyne
About
In this unique Zelda-lite game, explore and fight your way through surreal and creepy, nature, urban and abstract themed areas in the human Young's subconscious, evoked by a 16-bit-era visual style and a moody, dream-like soundtrack. Created by Sean Han Tani and Joni Kittaka.
Anodyne is available in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese and Korean.

Anodyne reviews and comments
A pretty artstyle paired with some interesting world and dungeon design.
The spin on the 2D Zelda structure works very well.
The only thing that went eight past me was the story.

This is a fun game. It doesn’t hold your hand and the story is very much open to interpretation, also it is on the shorter side. But the puzzles are fun and running around in the world is enjoyable. Plus, you fight with a broom. A BROOM! How could you not love that?!

Exploration and adventure in the spirit of Zelda 1.
☺ A world of daydreaming that reminds me of Myst, beautiful dialogues. A cotton vibe. Well-toned boss fights too! :D
☹ Platform sequences suffer from a lack of precision.
If you ever want to play the controller, flee the XBox controllers that will not be ready to use the DPad. The stick is a horror on this game. Use Joytokey or Xpadder.

Very addictive in this game one does not feel the lack of tools related to the progression of the character that one could find in any Zelda-like... just want to see what the next map will look like.
The game is immersive thanks to its beautiful scenery and its music that sticks well to the atmosphere.
The only black spot would be some passages of platform jumps quite hot, but it does not count long when you have a thirst for collecting cards to satisfy;)

Another indie-retro game too expensive.
Story: scenario as light as it is fordable... some funny passage. 0.5/1 chart: I confess to being a bit saturated with retro fashion, but for the price there is much better visually. I did not find anything exceptional and the format I chose I do not like at all. 0/1 gameplay: it's very basic, we go from puzzle to combat 4 monotonous directions. 0/1 audio: the only well-managed side, in my opinion, especially the music. 1/1 ambiance: no atmosphere, except the impression of playing a Nintendo game that will not become a classic. 0/1 final note: 1.5/5 never buy full price if you really want to play it. Personally I got it in a humble bundle.

This is a Zelda-like that seduced me by its graphics and its soundtrack. We are immersed in an adventure filled with monsters and donons from the beginning. The story is very basic but effective. No need to make tons for this kind of game.
However, the lifespan is relatively short. It all depends on whether you like to explore and talk to all NPCs. On average, it ends between three and five hours.
The puzzles are very simple to solve or not existent. The adventure consists mainly of exploring maps and killing mobs.
Maneuverability is not evident during certain passages. Or I'm the one who is a GAL with the prospect of the game... In addition, some bugs appear from time to time.
In the end, anodyne is closer to a browser or Smartphone game (besides it is available on Android). The universe is nice but no more. I advise you but on promotion.
