Sid Meier's Civilization® V This Is the German Original Version, which was released back in 2010.
A new Hexfele-based game principle enables exciting, new combat and Construction Strategies. City States are a new Resource on the diplomatic Battlefield. This is very innovative. Does it really Take 15 DLCs? In My View, this is mainly due to money. The DLCs are all of good Quality though and introduce themselves very well into the Game, which leads to a really significant Improvement in the game pass. To Be sure, it is actually a New Edition of the fourth base part with components, which were then completely implemented in Part six.
You can have up to 12 Nations on the Map at a time. Since even the largest Card is very small, this leads to a very interesting Game result. When you play like that, it's no longer about Winning, it's just about Survival. It's hellishly hard to play like that but it's really Fun.

Civilization V, as the Title suggests, is about taking care of building and managing a Civilization. In the beginning, a lot of Decision-making work is taken away from the New player by the Consultants, which is good to leave the player enough room to fully grasp the whole Aspects of the Game.
Since the Game needs a good 12-20h at Standard speed to play a complete Round (starting in Antiquity), the time-age-specific Collection of Experience is limited. The Player must play several Rounds to learn which Units or Buildings offer the best Bonuses for the Round.
Because the Game is designed to simulate a Civilization, Contact with other Civilizations is inevitable. The Player must maintain diplomatic Relations with his Fellow Players, can act with them, declare War with them against other Civilizations and, of course, make Peace again. The sense of community or Competition is Spiced up by so-called City states, which are named after Large Cities from all over the World. Players are scrambling for the Favor of city states to gain Access to their luxury Or Consumer goods and to get more Votes in the World Congress, resulting in one of the four Ways to win-the DImplomatis-: Does the Player have enough Votes in the World Congress Collected, then he can be crowned world ruler and the Game officially ends. In addition to the Diplomatic Victory, the Player faces alternatives such as the Domination victory, which is achieved when all The capitals of the other Players has been taken, the cultural Victory achieved when the Player has enough Tourism (Awareness, Popularity) through large Works Its Nation has reached the other Civilizations and, last but not least, the Science Victory that can be achieved by Assembling and Launching the Spacecraft. (Victory after Time is deliberately omitted).
As in any Game where AI is programmed, Civilization 5 is one of the Games where the AI Represents a major Contract point. The AI, though not quite as bad as in the Successor Civilizations 6, sometimes comes to Conclusions that would never occur to a normal human Being. I'll let it stand that way.
Describing The Totality of this Game is hard. However, it is recommended to form your own Opinion on the Game. What I particularly like is the Calmness that comes from the Informality of Playing, i.e. you will never be forced to continue playing.
Good Game.
Great turn-based strategy game in Sid Meier's tradition. Precisely what one would expect. I haven't played Civilization before, but had played Alpha Centauri. Everything made sense and was well explained.
