+ + Edited + + One Of the best Games I've ever played!
Although I was expecting something more like PlanetSide 2. But this is Defiance (luckily I have to say) by no Means! First of all it is not First-but ThirdPerson and above all It is not PvP but rather something between PvE and Koop-ok, there is a PvP Mode but later.
As it stands, one belongs to an elite or Special Unit that is in a Kind of War against ... Well, yes... Against whom now actually ... Beetles, Mutants and similar things as it looks and by the way also becomes involved in various Intrigues-the actual War against an extraterrestrial Race is told by the "Story," you don't notice anything at first and it takes a While for the story to turn out. Something open.
The Game is based on the series of the same name, which I have never seen before.
I actually like it quite well that you mainly play against the AI and not against each other. In addition, I find the Graphics really pretty-a little reminiscent of The Graphics of Rage ...
Then there is the Fact that you are not really tied to a Class (although you can choose a Kind of Class at first, it does not seem to have any Influence on Weapons and Abilities-this can still be used or chosen without Restriction.
Weapons and Equipment, etc., can be found if they are dropped by Opponents or the like, or the Reward for a successful Mission can be.
You can also buy them for InGame currencies of which there are several Weapons, Mods, equipment ecetera, but this is usually really expensive!
In addition, this is a big Plus despite varied missions, nice Gameplay, fluid control (!), Variety in equipment, OpenWorld and and and the Game is also FREE and no Pay-to-Win is not AN actual one. Opponents are-at most Competitors. You can also get together and walk around the World in a Group or a Clan.
What I have to complain about, however, is that the Menu interface is not exactly the most clear, Weapons are somehow all the same good and probably more likely to get better than just so and with the Time as I feel always get worse, the Connection Quality Some are bad, some things are quite confusing (for example, the Story that gradually unravels but what I actually mean now are some Equipment Options such as Mods attach) and the worst as I find-the PvP Mode-there you get as a Rookie Or Beginner together with the Professionals who are already lvl XY and has NO CHANCE! No, really not-such Opponents make you burst with a Shot while they themselves don't get a Scratch-but it seems to me that there Are hackers at Work. There are, of course, hackers like in any Online Game, but you don't have the Way to report them-although they are not quite as disturbing in the normal Game.
In Summary, I can only say for a Free2Play game stunning and definitely worth a Look even if it's probably not for Everyone ...
But as I said, it's FREE so download it and try it out and wove it howls one just because he has yet to make an Account with Gylph: 3
