Doctor Who: The Adventure Games

My first Review. And why would you read them? Quite simply: Because of the Cara factor-I hereby introduce it to my Reviews. To Explain: Who needs the umpteenth Repetition to Game Mechanics, technology, Story, etc.? You already know everything about that. So It's enough a game fun rating, a Kind of "Gut Feeling"-the Cara factor! A Value between (record, this is original!) 1 and 10 (1 = Flop, 10 = Top) and a small Explanation. The Thing is supposed to be meaningful, so you should know what else I like (hey, I'm just talking about Games;-)!). Storyheavy is important to me. By its very nature, it is often found in RPG's, Which I love, Adventures, but also sometimes in Action Games. Strategy, where I can bony a little (turn-based), I also like a lot. "Fast" Games like Shooter or Real-time strategy are not so my Worlds. Since I've been playing Computer Games since the 80s, it can happen that I get a bit nostalgic. Cara-Factor: 6 Reason: Am Just a Dr. Who fan-and the Station Wagon Matt Smith/Karen Gillan was not the Worst:-)

Classic Case of bought, played and returned! I'm an Extreme Sized Dr Who fan (seen at my Profile Picture, among other things), but this Game is just extremely bad and a Slap in the Face to any Dr Who Fan. The Control is the unbelievably bad, so really bad ... So really really completely incredibly mies. The Character (mostly the Doctor) is constantly clipping into everything. You run against an Object (from me from a Phone Booth) and the Character just clips through. Once the Character doesn't cliffs, he can be controlled really mies. I find it steer like a Tank. Small Example pleasing? Here: I tried to walk around the Tardis, just so tes-half. With any "normal" Game, you could have walked around it relatively densely, relatively quickly. In this Game allerding, you need the Turning Circle of a Truck so that you can walk around Curves. The Controls are generally a Joke. Who to The Vulture puts the Inventory on Space key? This has a playful Advantage, it's just hindered! Resumee: Game is shit, who buys it is itself guilt ... Or yes: Buy it, then play it briefly, realize that it's Shit and give it back, then you have a Game against the COD good looks MFG Rutzelmann

Positives _ _ _ _ _ _ The Stories of the first 3 Episodes are quite good. Episode 4 and 5 are okay. The "Game collection" can be settled in The Season 5. The Music, as always, is Class and fits. No one has to do for a Whovian, but already quite interesting. Negative _ _ _ _ _ _ The Graphics are not pretty for 2010/2011 either. Many, many Bugs (has the Game been patched or independently checked at all?) Really big Controls. Delay while running and then unnice Handling. MiniGames or Puzzles offer no Difficulty or variety = > Annoy Even after some Time. No German Subtitle (okay is jetz not quite bad) Resume _ _ _ _ _ _ For a Price of €20 absolute Rip-off (the Game is already older than 4 Years) I bought it myself for €5. At a SteamSale. Have read afterwards in the Comments that this Game in the UK is to be had for free for BBC Viewers. Therefore, absolute Mispurchase. Only trough, close to Doctor Who, i.e. original Voices and Original Screenwriters. However, it is still Difficult to have fun with it, due to the many Mistakes, the hack-like style of play and the Feeling. Would put a [positive] because of the nice Story. BUT so not, Price is too high, and too many Bugs, bad Controllation/bad graphics therefore [NEGATIV].
