Dungeons 2 reviews

Who doesn't know? Then you want to build a Dungeon and then come miserable Heroes who want to give you the Mood. Be it in the great Dungeon keeper or other Offshoots of this Genre, again and again they have come crashing in and wanted to steal our Treasures and have wreaked havoc on our Creatures. Now we have the Opportunity to take revenge on them. We are now not only stopping them with our Traps or beating them up in our own Walls, but we are sending our Monsters to the disgusting Upper World full of green Meadows, Unicorns and Good People to make them raze the Ground. Dungeons 2 plays like most Dungeon Manager Games. You have a Main Room (here the Throne Room), you can plan Gears and Rooms, Villain after Gold, gather monsters, beat up the Heroes who have lost their Way into your Dungeon And Payday. Now, however, things come to make it stand out from other Games in the Genre: The Monsters are bought across the Throne Room and don't run randomly at you. The Rooms you Can build, however, determine which monster group you can buy. This means that we would already be with the Monster Groups, there are a total Of 4 (+ 1 for the Servant Bashworkers) monster groups. Each Group fulfills a specific Purpose in The Dungeon, which makes one material for traps, the next is responsible for the Mana, then there is a Group that Explores upgrades for the Monsters and then a Group that motivates other Monsters more effectively to work. Each Group is represented by a Monster, which sounds little but each Monster has 2 Levels to train it to (resulting in 3 Monsters per Group). As an Example: In the Horde Faction (currently also the Demons faction to play) there is an Orc (typical Melee), this can be Trained to form an Orc main Man (which gets a few Spells) or an Orc Iron skin (very tough Fighter). In other Groups, it is similar only with other specializations (healer, remote fighter, etc.) Also a big Difference is that this time we are Able to send our Monsters to the Surface and show the World what we think of them. Here we take our Monsters into our hands and throw them out the Door, from then on we come from our usual environment to the Upper World and to the RTS (Real-time strategy) Control. There we let our Hordes destroy the Camps of the Alliance, is a camp destroyed we have conquered the Part of the Upper World and it is changing (Rivers become poison, Trees are being avoided, the Earth is breaking up and Lava seems to be pointing out etc.) In this Area we can also cast our Spells and, if necessary, decimate groups of heroes before they even reach our Dungeon (very useful to get rid of these annoying Bards who always defuse our Traps). So Much for the Gameplay The Fighting Was a lot of Fun for me personally, the Humor ignited With me and sometimes laughed back tears especially since the Makers sometimes don't take themselves seriously. This Game can confidently be seen as a Satire To the Fantasy world as it pulls pretty much everything through the Cocoa that has Rank and name and the Narrator has done a Great Job (anyone who knows "the Stanley Parable" will know the English Speaker). In addition to the Combat Range, the Game also features a Multiplayer Mode and a Skimrish Single-player Mode. At present there are still few Maps but the Developers want to deliver more. I have to say that the Developers work very closely with the Players and are also quite active in the Forums. They also rejoice in any Suggestion they receive and always have an open Ear for Wishes and Suggestions. Something like that is currently rare and I find it is definitely worth mentioning. But the best thing is to get your own Picture, so maybe check out the Twitch Streams from the Developers (have a Video there to each Faction, plus multiple players, etc.), check out a LetsPlay or best buy it and play it;D Hope it helped you a bit and have Fun while zooming. P.S. Winter is coming ...

Nice rip off from Dungeon Keeper but it doesn't run smoothly. After the level with the unicorn the game crashes and does not start anymore, had to force a stop itself. I am playing on an Imac from 2013 with 12 GB of memory, so this should not be a problem. For the 5 (very slow) playable levels it is definitely not worth buying; wasted money, like more from the app store ...

Well done. There are old memories of Dungeon Keeper awake .. Addiction factor. The graphics are great and can be confidently lowered in the options a few steps, then the flow is liquid. Although I have an iMac with 8GB of RAM and Fusion drive, Intel Core i5. A visual difference is not perceived by the eyes and then it runs smoothly Great game. Absolute recommendation.

You can browse through all the menus, but when starting a single player game, none of the buttons work. You click any one of them buttons, nothing happens. I did notice when I move the mouse, I can hear click sounds as if the menu buttons are invisible, but when you click on the invisible buttons, nothing happends. You can press escape to cancel out of the invisible menu. I waited a Year still no update. I tested on iMac late 2008, MacMini late 2014, iMac 2012, iMac 2013 with 10.11, 10.12 and 10.13. May only be compatible with 10.09 maybe 10.10 too, could not test. Not compatible with 10.6 or 10.7.

Granted, I'm one of those people who are strangely regarded when I'm admitted to playing at the computer BUT: I'm probably the first generation to grow up with computer games (everything started with the C64 :)) - and some games are unforgotten until today Games like Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion, Age of Empires, Pirates or Dungeon Keeper And just the latter It seems more than worthy of a monument here And with wonderful graphics (not only if you take the original version as a mastiff), simple gameplay and above all an incredible amount of humor (I had to laugh out loud at times whether the allusions to divine fantasy classics from Lord of the Rings to GoT) and self-irony I've only been playing for 2 days - but I'm already a fan and looking forward to the pending levels and enhancements. You made an old gamer-heart happy.3
