About

Edge is an isometric puzzle platformer. You control a cube and need to lead it through levels to the goal, collecting light prisms and trying not to fall off the map. You see the map from the isometric perspective, and the cube moves diagonally. There are 45 main and 3 unlockable levels in the game.

The key feature of the gameplay is the ability of the cube to balance at the certain angle. You need this to complete the most difficult parts of the route. When rolling is not enough, you can climb a moving block to overcome an obstacle or perform any other maneuver. However, these tricks are not easy to master.

However, Edge challenges your reflexes more than your ability to solve puzzles. The game usually gives direct hints about where to go and what to do to pass the level but it’s quite difficult to perform this safely. Problems can appear only with collecting all the prisms as they can be hidden. In general, the entire game is created in simple polygonal style so nothing distracts you from completing levels.

I'm a big fan of innovative puzzle ideas and first downloaded the Lite version of Edge to my iPhone. I was immediately tied up and played through it. After that the purchase of the full version was obligatory for me. It really is a lot of fun to go through the worlds with his cube and to overcome many a tricky job. The graphics are completely adequate according to the gameplay and the various control options have something for everyone. A negative assessment of the game due to a comparison with Tetris is completely incomprehensible to me and inappropriate. The game is really very nice, good to use and in my opinion an absolute buy recommendation. 5 Stars.

As the title suggests: there are many things to discuss about this game. Undoubtedly well done: the original idea, undoubtedly effective, developed with extreme accuracy for details. But there are some things that could be improved. First of all the levels: even with the update I finished the whole thing in ... about half an hour, while I was at the toilet. : P Overall, the graphics are good, but some pixels act as punches during cube rotation. And then the price: excessive. For four euros of application, the most expensive I've ever bought, I imagined something exceptional - even for the various reviews that portray Edge as the number one. It's short, very intuitive (you can lock two minutes on a difficult point to cover, but on the whole easy) and not 4. Of course a nice game, but from 1.59 cents, like many others. :) I advise you to download it, because it is certainly worth trying, but I warn all those - like me - who expect a world game that could be a tiny disappointment.

Edge is so incredibly good that you do not even know where to start with the praise. The style is unique and the presentation perfect. Music has a wonderful 8-bit charm and all tracks are really great. Controlled by touch (finger wiping) or accelerometer and both works wonderfully. The level design is also unbelievably successful, almost none of the 25 + 1 levels are similar to the other and again and again there are completely new obstacles to overcome. I'm really in love, but the start screen is a stylistic dream. Really the only point of criticism is the length and I hope that updates will be added later. But even so, the replay factor is enormously high, as some mini-cube (these are collected) are not easy to find and / or reach, and in some, I still have my teeth off. Also his lap times can and always want to be improved. And let's be honest, rather 26 almost completely different levels with a great design than 100 almost identical ones that quickly cause boredom. EDGE is exciting, unique and stylistically perfect. For me the currently best game for iPhone and Touch.
