Heroes 7 Review/Patch 1.6/Winter Sale _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Now in the Winter Sale I bought the Deluxe Edition (comes with a free Copy of Heroes III HD and the Soundtrack) and I just had to give it a go. And I have to say, the bad Reviews may have been justified then, but they are no longer so today. Surely it was a Mistake to leave the Game to Release so bugged, this Fact will not change ... But now to my Impression: POSITIV:-The Art-style is refreshingly new and appeals to me. The Artists put in a lot of Effort. The Small Farms and Fields on the Map alone are just great. This fills the World and does not leave the Impression that you just want to cut through it. I was particularly impressed by that. The Game world is alive and simple Class.
-The Soundtrack is as always great-There are various Innovations to Heroes VI, all of which would probably break the Frame here. Many complained about the Lack of Innovation, I only see new ones at the moment and I like everything very much. New Creatures, new Skill-system. New City Screen. Even the Building Menu I like, although I thought it would put me off.
-The Game runs smoothly (my PC has considerably more Problems with Heroes VI)-I like the new Option to go into Fights. Much better than in Heroes VI-ELEMENTARMAGIE!!!
NEUTRAL BIS SCHLECHT-The Hero "jerks" something on the Map (but that could also be due to my bad Graphics Card)-The Combat System is sometimes too "lame," which sometimes drags the Fighting unnecessarily. Still, the Fights are Fun. Mostly =) I recommend this Game. Buy it at the Sale while it's available. For 25 euros or 30 Euros, this is a Bargain. 50 and 60 Euros, respectively, would be too high a price in my Eyes, as this Game still "suffers" from 2-3 Corners and Edges.
I hope more People will buy this Game. I know that me and my Girlfriend will enjoy the Hotseat =)

Heroes VII-not exactly a Game I would have liked for a long time, and probably not the most innovative in this Segment. There are some Rule Changes (as with any Version of the skilling system) and Adjustments to the Pre-guests. Regardless of its Problems and Problems, it is still Fun to play.
Problems: * Currently there are still plenty of Bugs (E.g. Flags of dead Heroes do not disappear on the Minimap, some Ads show Code instead of Symbols, leaving Creatures waiting in Battle can lead to faulty range of Motion in the next move, ...). It seems horribly unfinished as a result. Last but not least, there are no Errors that only strike you after 20 Hours, but in the first 60 Minutes.
* Rechenting Requirements have increased dramatically since the last Version, and you now get a far worse graphical Experience with the same hardware than with the last Version. Well, this is the general Classic that Game Developers have always made-just develop for the next Generation of hardware. Do I Come clear with that.
* Single player campaign Academy: I've only played the first two Missions so far (of 4), but so far they've been pretty bland. In the first one Is not allowed to expand a city, is happily relocated in Favor of the Plot (after all, there is also an Army correction for the Heroes), towards the End there is a Mega-artifact that nifies every further Fight in the Bud. In the second Mission, there is not a Mega-artifact, but a Mega-ability: Just summon 8-12 Elements. You do That (almost) right in front of the Opponent, and already the Fight is easy to win without any Losses. The quick fight option became really helpful with the neutral Armies-the Fights just got absurdly boring and I invariably only played Fights with Losses in the Quick Fight (of course always without Losses). Which brings me to the next Point: * AI-it seems to completely ignore magical Abilities for the Fast Fights or send weak Melee Units in front of Them as quickly as possible, so that they can still find death in time for the End of The fight ... I've seen better. From the various senseless Movements of opposing Armies on the Map, I don't want to start here.
