Q*Bert The Remake

Q*Bert, a successful arcade game from the 80s, comes back today in three dimensions including three levels with distinct features.

Q*Bert : the Remake is a 3D platformer game composed of three unique levels. In this game, you have to color the cubes as quickly as possible while avoiding your enemies. Practice as much as you can to beat your high score and become the fastest Q*Bert of this world.

Q-Bert : the Remake is a school project made by team Q-te, a freshmen team from E-Artsup Montpellier, France.

Instructions: produce an arcade game remake in 10 weeks.

Team Goals: In pre-production, we decided to fix us 4 objectives:

• Make a playable game for keyboard/mouse players (those who knew the original game can easily guess why this was a goal).
• Create new worlds and break the routine of the repetitive pyramids from the original game.
• Produce a game for young and old alike, in a familial way.
• Make Q-Bert a charming character, more than a cute one.

For this student project, we use some free assets and music. Thanks to these people for their work which is so useful for students like us !
