About

Entrapped in a city plagued by a deadly virus, assaulted by the minions of a megacorporation, attacked by infected and with a dragon on a rampage through the city you have to unearth the secret conspiracy that connects it all.

As the leader of your team of Shadowrunners, you will have to use magic, technology and every weapon available to you, to save the lives of thousands in a city at the brink of extinction. Set in the dystopian near future of our world, where magic has awakened and blends with technology, creatures of myth and legend have returned. Elves, Dwarves, Orks and Trolls walk among the neon-lit streets, while the matrix connects everyone and everything as the corporate towers cast their long shadows across the globe. You are a Shadowrunner - a secret operative on the edge of society, hired for the jobs no one wants to be connected with. Shadowrun Chronicles - Boston Lockdown reviews and comments

Early Access Review First Impression is quite positive, of course you have to look at how it goes on, but so far you like it. You feel comfortable in this Undeni-based Game and can immerse yourself in the colorful and colorful World Shadowrun it well. Instances don't really bother, the Game runs fluidly and thus also allows the necessary Opportunity to snap through once. Character creation is quick to accomplish and the Combination between possibilities of Race and class allows for a lot of different Characters here and at the Beginning. This is supported very well in Retrospect by a very complex Skillwood tree, which can also be easily changed. I am already looking forward to the most diverse Groups in the Game. Camera Guidance is a bit awkward at times and I hope that will still be changed. Personally, I would like to see even more Cyberware, but it will come later, you have to look. Otherwise made beautiful and loving and makes You want more.

Well, what to write? First of all, I would like to say that Shadowrun Chronicles: Boston Lockdown is not the best or most innovative Game there is, but I think that's pretty much clear to everyone. I played it because, as a longtime Pen & Paper Player, I've also been playing Shadowrun For a long Time. The Lockdown of Boston, in particular, was therefore interesting for me. First of all, I would like to mention that, despite the rather "medium-sumptuous" game I found here, I enjoyed the Campaign. The Developer-consisting of 29 Employees at the Time of development-was never one of the Developers who had an incredible amount of Money or Manpower at their disposal to develop AA or AAA Games. But for the means available to them, I think the Shadowrun Chronciles had quite succeeded. Above all, I think it is nice to keep very close to the Pen & Paper Shadowrun and to reproduce ingame information to indulges and To corporations faithfully. So before you start a Campaign in the QZ Boston in your Pen & Paper Round, you can calmly give this Game to see the Beginning, how it came about and who is responsible for it and why. The Graphics are not the latest but perfectly ok for a Game of this Kind. The Mechanics are well-known and moved (most will know it from XCOM and Jagged Alliance) and mostly well implemented, there are few minimal annoyances. Unfortunately, the Choice of Equipment is somewhat scarce and there are no real Alternatives for the respective Focal points of the Characters. Too bad, but ok you can live with. The Story is based on the Pen & Paper and therefore quite interesting. Some May find it too short, but who knows what else is planned for Successors or DLC's. Overall, the Story is conclusive and apt for a Shadowrun Game. As mentioned above, Cards are recycled over and over again. So the Sewer, The Design of The NeoNet Tower etc. I just attribute this to the missing Capital, because we are honestly just under 500k for a Development Team that designs a Game certainly helpful but far from sufficient. Especially not if you want to have numerous Possibilities or variants in the Game. I rate the Game positively because, according to my view, it was tried to develop a good Game, but last has failed at the dear Money. Other Developers unfortunately get on with extreme naughty. Too bad for Cliffhanger Productions:(
