About

TerraTech is an open-world, sandbox adventure game, where you design and build your own creations through a mix of crafting, combat and discovery. Explore a hostile alien landscape, or design with creative freedom. The choice is yours.

Start your career as an Intergalactic miner on a randomly generated infinite world in search of profit and glory in Campaign, sit back and build to your hearts content in Creative mode or pit your Techs against the clock and dare to run the Gauntlet Challenge. There are many game modes available in TerraTech to stretch your Tech building imagination to the limits!StoryIn the distant future, Earth's natural resources have been depleted, and as a resource-gathering prospector it's your job to travel to alien planets and scour them for valuable materials. But you are not alone! Rival prospectors litter the landscapes of these new worlds, and will fight to protect what’s theirs, and invade to take what’s yours. To make your mark, you will need to be cunning and creative.

Using the building blocks, guns, wheels, and wings from several Mining Corporations, you can build varied Techs to suit every purpose. Be it powerful armoured combat vehicles, unstoppable resource gathering machines, sprawling resource processing bases or a hybrid of all three - creativity is your key to exo-planetary success. The worlds in TerraTech are procedurally generated and infinite, so there are always new lands to discover and more resources to find. Treacherous mountain ranges, luscious grasslands and huge deserts are among the biomes you will encounter. More will be added as development progresses. The intergalactic mining industry is a profitable one, but you are not the only miner in search for new worlds to exploit. Defending yourself from rival miners will take time, resources and skill, with success leading to new territory and new lands. All equipable blocks and items can be damaged or destroyed, so ensuring you are sufficiently armed and ready for battle is a key element of both survival and prosperity in TerraTech. Get out there and show them who’s boss!By gathering and processing natural resources, players are able to construct storage, refining and construction bases in order to craft new blocks in the game. Like the look of that Venture Hail Fire Rifle that just tore your vehicle apart? Go prospecting for the needed resources, and craft a couple for yourself in the shiny new Venture fabricator which you just aquired, by beating their time trial challenge in the nearby mountains. All exo-planetary miners buy parts from the established Mining Corporations, which each have their own specific brand of mining technology. Get the job done with GSO, zoom around with high-performance recon specialists Venture, strip-mine to the max with the heavy-duty GeoCorp or act with miltary efficiency utilizing the stealth focussed Hawkeye. New Corporations we’re aiming to add to the game include deranged experimental scientists Reticule Research, technological superiority giants Better Future and the hive-mind AI swarms of LEGION. Completing missions and discovering blocks for each Corp will improve your standing with them, and gain access to the more sought-after components in their arsenal.

TerraTech reviews and comments

Translated by
Microsoft from Deutsch
Hello, (Stand14.1.19) I would like to apologize for my sometimes miserable German Before I start. I have been playing Terratech for 5 Years now and I want to finally write ne Review, the Game is really nice and a good Recommendation for anyone with Creativity. Personally, I love to keep tinkering with new Bases, driving or Planes. Although it becomes a bit easy after a long Game because the Opponents subside a bit, the Fun of the Game remains because of the Possibilities that are made possible when Building. On Gameplay: The Gameplay is a really good Point at Terratech, which, as I mentioned, you really have a lot of Possibilities when Building. You can build Land vehicles, Planes, Bases, defense Towers, Hovercrafts and even if you want flying Battleships with unclamable purpose-seeking Missiles. However, these are by no means all the Possibilities of Construction Mode. The Blocks used are currently divided into five Groups: GSO (Galactic Survey Organisation), Venture, Geocorp, Hawkeye and Better Future. -The Block Classes: GSO are the Standard Blocks and Initial Blocks, but it also has very strong Weapons in the Late Game. GSO may also have Blocks of Flights, but it is more suitable for Land Use. Venture has been specific to being fast, small and agile. They express the Flight Point more. Their Weapons, however, are rather weak except for their purpose-seeking Missiles. Geocorp is a Faction with very large Blocks, which is intended to Dismantle Large deposits of Resources. Therefore, they only have Degradation Weapons, which can also be used as Melee weapons for Dismantling. Hawkeye is a faction focused On mainly Combat, they have Tank blocks and very strong Weapons. However, they can Depletion almost nothing and are therefore quite useless in terms of Resource gain. However, with their Blocks you can build ingenious Aircraft and the only helicopters so far. In Summary, there are very different Block classes, all of which are unique, I like the Subdivision because it is so very clear. -Resources: There are different Resources all over the World of Terratech. These Resources are to be mined and processed, but also to earn Money. In order to obtain Resources, it is necessary to reduce their Resources. This is done with the intended Mining Tools. With the Mined Resources, you can now do different Things. If you want, you can make new Blocks using the Fabricator, you can also sell or store them. -Bases In Base Construction, you can vary from Defense Towers, and Resource Storage stations to entire Factories. It's really Fun To watch his purpose-built factory work. I hope that the Developers will soon add the Function of automatic Mining Again. -Biomas The Biomes are very varied and numerous. There Are Whale areas, Desert Areas, Salt Deserts, mountains, An interesting Region called "Pillars" and more. Different Enemies, resources and missions can be found in each area. This makes each Biome unique. -The Opponents The Enemies are available in all different Block classes, they have spawn randomly distributed over the Map and also attack each other. Through Enemies, you quickly get to new Blocks, and they also bring Experience. However, the Opponents are gradually adjusting to your Level and remain a Threat in the Late Game. About Music: The current Music was written and released by Dave Dexter. It is designed to match the Game, and you have a different Soundtrack for each Biome. But this is not only with the Biomes so also the Classes have different Pieces of music during the Fight. To the Story: Unfortunately I have to say that the Story in Terratech is a bit lax. At the Beginning you get a Couple of Instructions but otherwise not much happens though there are later a few NPCs that give you Instructions but nothing else. Summary: The Game gives you many Building potential that you can exploit through Creativity, it has beautiful Music and an equally beautiful In-game world. The Basic Building is Also available. It has demanding Opponents which cause you difficulties. There are many different Blocks that allow for a great Variation in Vehicle construction. I know that the Game is still in Development but nevertheless I have had a lot of Fun and sleepless Nights until now. Dear developer team.. Game!
