Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
About
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is a multiplayer-only installment in the famous series of first-person shooters. It does not include a single player option.
Gameplay
The players control their characters from the first person view and fight each other in teams or individually using various firearms. While the basics of the game are the same as in previous Black Ops games, there are some additions and some subtractions. The health regeneration was scrapped, and instead, each player has a health pack that he or she must use manually. Advanced movement and wall-running also do not appear in this game.
The game reintroduces Specialists, who are characters with unique skills. There are ten types of Specialists, with the game introducing four completely new types: Ajax, Crash, Recon, and Torque. The players can customize their Specialists using the Pick 10 system of class creation. Black Ops 4 also includes some of the popular maps from the previous games.
Modes
Alongside traditional multiplayer mode, which is the main mode in Black Ops 4, the game features several specific modes. There's the Zombies mode in which the players battle against a horde of zombies. For the first time in the Call of Duty series Black Ops 4 introduces the popular Battle Royale mode under the name of Blackout. It allows a deathmatch between up to 100 players that can form teams of up to 4.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 reviews and comments
- Campaign: / it does not exist.
- MP: 5/10. worst black ops MP. to many hackers, to many campers, etc... .
- Zombies: 6/10. the zombies is okay, not a must play. Maps are interesting, but not BO3 or IW levels.
Do i reccomed? No, 5.5/10.
BO4 came out at the perfect moment for me - I got tired of team/hero-based shooters, and I wasn't enjoying Destiny 2's PvP anymore, so I basically had no PvP shooter to play, and out of nowhere - BO4 beta came, and it just felt so nice!
The thing about CoD is that it's kinda stuck in time, and that's not really a bad thing. The core gameplay is still that visceral non-stop action, with instant respawns and immediate feedback to your success. It is also a series where a single person's skill can carry the whole game, which is hard to come by in team-oriented games these days.
All of that combined kinda works great in 2018 if you just want to run around and shoot people in the face, not worrying about anything.
If you dive a bit deeper - you'll find that it's one of the nicer iterations of the sandbox as well. It's not a Jetpack Hell from Black Ops 3 (not that I had an issue with it personally, but people didn't seem to like it that much), and it's not too old-school, like WWII was. The specialist choice now actually matters and that brings a bit of the "hero-shooter" feel to the age-old setup, which is a nice touch.
And on top of it all - you have Blackout, a Battle Royale mode which people seem to enjoy (not really my thing), and an amazing iteration of Zombies.
So yeah. If you like shooters, got a bit tired of your team not pushing that damn payload, and just want to vent-out while grinding some sweet skins - BO4 is the perfect game for that so far. Been playing for like 20-30 hours already, and plan to keep on doing just that.
