Holger Schmidt is a games director and designer. Schmidt has been working with Sony Interactive Entertainment, LucasArts Entertainment, Factor 5 and Irem. Schmidt's first published game was R-Type (1987) released in 1987. Then, Holger Schmidt went on to work on Turrican as the director. Later, Schmidt also was part of the team who developed Super Turrican (1992) published by Imagineer for Wii, SNES and NES. The latest work of Holger Schmidt was Super Turrican, published in 2008.
