Shinji Kitamoto is a games designer and programmer. Kitamoto has been working with Konami Digital Entertainment and Digital Eclipse. Kitamoto's first game was Contra (1987) published by Konami for NES in 1987. After that, Shinji Kitamoto took part as the programmer of Esper Dream. Afterwards, Shinji Kitamoto worked on Contra developed by Digital Eclipse in 2010. The latest work of Shinji Kitamoto was Contra Anniversary Collection, published in 2019.
