The game speed seems to be tied to the frame rate / monitor refresh rate. If you run a 120hz/144hz setup you can't play the game at all because your ship runs out of speed before even reaching the first power up. Sloppy programming there.

this bad programmed game works only with 60 fps. if you have 144 fps like me, the ship wont fly as fast as with 60 fps what means that it doesn't even reach the first boost. of course you can't throttle the fps so its not usable! even thogh it was in a game pack, it's a waste of money!!!

Perfectly killing by a little Time, at first Glance reminded me of an old Game from GameBoy times, but the Name doesn't occur to me anymore. Anyway pretty retro-style done and if you have lost 4-5 times then you should have understood the Game Principle at the Latest;) Oh, and the Price (according to the Game name) is unbeatable after all ...

This Retro-style game is made nice. You control one of three Spaceships with two Buttons and have to try to collect certain Power Ups, most importantly the acceleration Power ups that allow you to get further in the Game. A certain Skill and good Responsiveness are necessary for this Game. Why I can't recommend it any further is the Fact that it doesn't really motivate me to Play, at least it doesn't. It is reminiscent of old vending machine games that you used to have in the Arcade at the Beginning of the Computer Games. For a Casual Game in between fine, the Price is absolutely fair with currently €0.99, but long Game Fun you can't expect.

$1 Ride is a fitting Name, it costs just as much. Still, I don't think it's really worth the Money. The Game idea is boring, honestly all just designed for Reaction, which at some point becomes impossible pretty quickly. So at the Beginning you have three Choices about what you collect. Speed, ne Cannon or you fly against a Rock, as an Example. Later then 5 Choices, etc. Basically, it's always good to take the Speed, because it doesn't last long and if you stop, the Game is finished, which is really annoying, because sometimes you make a stupid Mistake and want a retry. But that did not envisage the Game and so one is just a few Minutes off. The Graphics also toast and look really nauseous on my 4K Monitor. If the Game would at least be Fun, but unfortunately the fun is like the Graphics, hardly any present. If the Game is in Sale you could buy it, for a few Minutes it is funny, but even the regular 1 EUR and 99 Cents are too much. Leave your Finger off it, too bad for Money. But There are also Games that I like [mediennerd.de]
