18 Wheels of Steel: Extreme Trucker reviews

In Itself a beautiful Game, it is already very old, which is especially noticeable in the Graphics. A Nice Change to Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator it is all times since it is not quite as trimmed on Realism as Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator. The Game runs to my PC With an Intel Q6600 (2.4GHz), 8GB RAM and an ASUS GTX 1050ti in average to between 100-170FPS. Unfortunately, the Control only works via Keyboard, neither my Logitech G29 nor my XBox 360 Controller (USB) are detected. I also installed the Game on my Laptop with 2GB RAM, but unfortunately it can't start there because no Graphics card is detected there (it has Indel OnBoard Graphics). For £3.49 in the Steam Summer Sale volcome ok, but I wouldn't spend more on that either. I hope that there will be a Successor at any time.

For Years I want to have a Steering Wheel on the PC and again and again I thought to myself "The Nonsense is too expensive." A few Weeks ago I finally got one and 18 Wheels of Steel: Extreme Trucker was the first Title with which I tasted the Steering Wheel. It was also wonderful, but the Game, which has already come in the Years, did not recognize my Pedals, so mixed gas with Buttons on the Steering Wheel and Braked. That's not bad, though, is a matter of getting used to. But to the Game itself: I played so 4-5 Hours and now I don't Feel like seeing anything new. You have three Sections, three Danger areas, so to speak, which are very varied. In the Ice, in the Mountains and Australia? Why Australia? In the Ice Landscape I found driving quite easy, you don't have to think much, because you can also tile through the Area with large Trailers, just not drive over reprished ice. In the Mountains it is more demanding. Abysses you can slide down, narrow Roads and even tighter Curves. That makes driving, especially in the later Course really Whim. In Australia, I really wonder why you took Australia with you, driving is boring. There are long Distances where you can give Full throttle and the only Danger is that you crash when Overtaking. Overall, I enjoyed the Game a lot, especially in the Mountains, because you crank up quite nicely on the Steering Wheel. However, even after a few Hours you have seen everything and the Orders are repeated, the only thing that changes so much is the Remuneration and experience that you get in the End. Unfortunately, you no longer have any Incentive why you should unlock the remaining Ranks that are still available. There is also no story, so you daddle around for a few Hours until you have seen every Corner once and then get to the Phase "I prefer to play something else." With me that took 4-5 Hours, I can't imagine anyone enduring to drive any longer, especially because you just don't have a goal anymore. Nevertheless, the Game has been a lot of Fun for me in time and so I can definitely recommend it, but not at the full Price of 18.99 EUR, which it costs right now. I also perceive that as something a lot, but if it is once in the Sale for a 10s or less, then definitely access. Also Especially fun with Steering Wheel then. Enjoy playing.
