★ ★ ☆ ☆ As usual a Princess (among others) was kidnapped by a demon creature and you brave warrior, decide to play "Super Mario". You have seven days to release the kidnapped children before an evil ritual begins. Unfortunately, there is not much to say about the scenario, because there is almost no such thing. This assessment will be relatively short and I apologize.
The game is an independent game, from the rogue-like style to turn-by-turn, which is meant to be "retro". You can choose one of the 18 classes offered (I haven't played them all) and there are 5 different races. The arsenal is pretty well provided and the same goes for monsters and abilities. But that's pretty much everything (in my humble opinion) what the game has to offer. Besides we can not even (in any case I could not) resell the very many weapons that one gets a little too easily by killing the monsters.
In addition to the almost non-existent scenario, the game suffers from many inconsistencies. The most striking is the choice of the color palette. I know, there are all tastes in nature, so let's say that this one is not at all for my liking. Indeed, the author has made the choice of a very limited palette which in itself is a big challenge (which I greet in passing). Unfortunately, it has not been able to vary the nuances sufficiently, which makes it sometimes difficult to distinguish some enemies. In addition to the palette, I find (and once again I specify that my opinion is purely subjective) the gameart really really sloppy! All right everyone gets into retro fashion and it seems to sell well but seriously, we really have an impression of work is done in a hurry or totally sloppy! This is deplorable because the game has very few strengths and the artistic side could make it a tad more attractive.
Some have pointed out before me, the game would be much more fun on mobile terminals, but on a computer, one (I) gets tired very quickly. After the hour of play, we find ourselves to "force" to continue, hoping to get more, unfortunately this production did not know anything more and I ended up separating myself. Yes I confess I have not finished and I am absolutely not ashamed. Another notorious fact, the rhythm of the game seems a bit too accelerated for a computer and the commands do not always respond very well.
Audio side, this is not better and I will make a flower to the author for his efforts (because it is not easy to develop an indie game) _ I will not talk about it. My advice: play without the sound if you plan to put yourself there for several hours.
Note that the classes are not very balanced and you gain more to opt for a class-oriented Dodge and combat distance.
