While rummaging in the attic, among the various family objects, you find an old console all dusty, together with 3 cartridges, the console is called KES (Kylobite Entertainment System) and the cartridges, with the artwork ruined by mould and time, are called: 256k, 128k and 64k respectively.
Intrigued, you plug the console into your TV, insert the first cartridge and... to your amazement you discover it's a game! 16-bit music echoes in your room as words appear on the screen:
---THE AMBITION WILL KILL YOU---
Your world is on the verge of the destruction, the elder gods have turned their back to you, the ground is dry, the water is always stained with blood and the people are going crazy because of an unknown disease...
But there is a legend, down in the woods, there is a shrine, the Eternal Forest Shrine, a place where humans and gods once met.
The legend tells of a hero, a mysterious wanderer, without a human name, that will sacrifice himself for the sake of others, he will sacrifice: his sight, his emotions and his soul, only then, he will abandon his mortal body and he will become a god.
many people paid no heed to this legend, it was too absurd to be true, however, right on the brink of the end, a young traveller enters the eternal forest, he has no name, no fear and a lot of Ambition, that traveller is you! will you become a god? will you sacrifice yourself for the sake of your loved ones? well... just enter the forest, and you will find out.
But be careful, the forest, once full of sounds of happiness and laughs, has turned into a horrible living nightmare, among cursed witches, cruel barons, old crazy men and... Her... you will find yourself into a real nightmare... do you still want to proceed?
