3DRPG reviews

I took this game out by remembering cube world and Vox, two abandoned games that I liked. So I said to myself "a new voxel that looks interesting? We'll try! ". Well, at first I was puzzled. The unintuitive controls do not help to like the game, but as we play, we are doing pretty well. The game is not at all what I thought it would be, but it is not bad for that much. The combat system, for example (I had absolutely not watched the presentation video). For the voxel, I find that the "free" fight is more interesting for various reasons that concern me. But the one chosen for this game also works, only less well for my liking. The craft system, nothing special to say, if only the principle of mines is interesting. Indeed, it takes ore for craft, and for that it is necessary to go on the mountains to look for mines, and thus make 2/3 fights up to a boss, and finally recover the mine that will provide X ore every 3 displacements (seems to me it). The rest of the ingredients can be found in the treasure hunt section. Just the treasure hunt.. A good idea again, but I find this phase too long. The maps where we search for the treasures are immense, the vision does not allow us to see far, and the chests are sometimes too well hidden (forest). It takes time if you want all the chests of the map, and often we prefer to take 1 or 2 rather than persevering. That said, the surrounding monsters add a bit of action. Fishing and archery, nothing to say, it does its job without being extraordinary. These phases are made to procure food, and therefore to continue to advance on the map. We are not having fun, we are not bored, in short it is good but not madness either! The camera management is probably what surprised me most... I may have been too accustomed to a free camera, but can only look in 4 directions (North, South, East, West obviously) was unexpected. A choice still very questionable, especially that with each change of direction the screen "jumps" during a micro second, but you get used to it. That said, the large number of professions and the multiple predefined objectives gives the game a great replayability, and that is always appreciable. In fact, if I were to summarize my opinion, I think that if this game had come out as early access, it would have been quite satisfactory. Now, after a little more than 3h on it, although I find every feature well made, I have a feeling that nothing is finished, that there is something missing a little everywhere. The game has potential, it is undeniable, but it is not exploited properly for now. Regarding the evaluation saying that its GTX 970 does not pass in "fastest", I answer that my R9 280X dual-X makes it turn into "good" (which represents, to what I have seen, the maximum possible for now). Despite my rather negative remarks, I recommend the game to the view of its potential, I do not have a bad experience and will continue to play it to discover the game a little deeper. EDICT: no update, no change since, do not lose your €10. The abandonment of the game is far too frequent, it is a shame!
