Hi! My name is Joaquin, aka @m1s3ry and this is my first actual game published for also my
first jam!

CONTROLS

W and S for jumping up and down
A and D for regulating speed (better not touch)
J for dashing
K for power
Space for switching characters
WASD and J for Menu

EDIT 2: I've been told and told how hard this game is. It's completely beatable, but even I have to admit it's not Kirby's Epic Yarn, that's for sure (nor is nearly as good). I will update the game and tone down the difficulty a bit after the ratings, but meanwhile, I'll leave a complete playthrough in youtube for people who want to see the ending or want to understand how to play it a little better! Also, A and D are for changing speeds. You'll just want to speed up (D) if you want to speedrun or speed down (A) if you want to make the game a little easier.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Sadly, I uploaded a game that completely broke the game because I'm an idiot. Long story short, the game over state didn't reset after dying once, requiring you to reboot the game or else you wouldn't be able to progress. I've been informed that we could upload patches for game breaking bugs, so please, download the FIXED version. I have to let the original upload intact though. Thanks!

444: 4 Colors, 4 Ninjas, 4 Sale is a game about ninjas, quick reflexes, capitalism and and weird af ending because I couldn't actually finish the last level. This game was submitted for GB Jam 8.

Pure arcade mayhem! You lose and it's game over man, game over!
4 playable characters + 3 unlockable ones (2 invited from other games!)
5-ish levels that are hard as nails!
Incredible 4 colors sized palette!
Make it really GameBoy-ish by setting scale to 1!
A weird ending that may be the best and the worst part of the game
Completely untested powers that may or may not work/break the game
An stupidly overpowered character
Amazing music from Chips 'N Cellos!
A lot of screenshake because I LOVE Vlambeer!
A lot of love poured in because this is my first "complete" game
Seriously, bring back Vlambeer...

I hope you enjoy this game as much as I enjoyed making it, and with that I mean I hope the game stresses the hell out of you. Also, I hope you get to the end! I don't know if the ending is good, but I didn't have enough time to finish the last level so I had to improvise!
