About

In the late 1950s, the Cold War opens up a new front: THE OUTER SPACE!
When an unlikely crew of astronauts gets stranded among the stars after a haphazard evacuation from the exploding space station, their fate rests in your hands.
Time to act, Captain!
Get your people and enough supplies to the space rocket, before the incoming nukes, accidental debris or the vaccum get you first. Is 60 seconds enough to prepare for the 60 parsec, unplanned journey into the unkown?
Hurled into the depth of far away galaxies, only you can get everyone back home. Decide what to do, facing impossible odds every day and a unique adventure every time you play. Ration food, somewhat radioactive fuel and make the best of your supplies to keep your crew spaceworthy.
Can you survive the horrors lurking outside and within your space rocket?
Bon voyage!
SCAVENGE for supplies, resources and your crew in just 60 seconds and live with the consequences of your frantic decisions!
SURVIVE the farthest reaches of outer space with an almost competent crew and a modest supply of soup cans in your trusty space rocket. Can you reach your destination?
EXPLORE the vastness of space in a procedural, non-linear narrative, incorporating roguelite elements for short but intense play sessions, where every decision made can make it or break it.
CRAFT your own space-faring adventure and experience a neverending stream of story events with a diverse cast of characters!
including, but not limited to space octopi, the infamous swinging aliens of Omicron-7 and of course those pesky Soviets.

60 Parsecs! reviews and comments

like a 60 seconds but better

More than 3 Hours of Play is not necessary to describe why I can't recommend the Game. The Fairness owed beforehand, this Game is really aimed at Lovers. In Principle, the Concept is quite funny. 60 Seconds before an all-out Disaster, It is necessary to pack up crew and Objects and to go into the Rescue Shuttle themselves. So Far so good. It means setting Priorities, not a problem for me. My first Problem starts with finding Items, as they are distributed differently with each Reboot. So I never know where I can meet my Priorities. Then I make it into the Capsule with the Crew members (maximum 3) that I was able to save and the Dance begins. It is Lap Based, so there is no Hustle and Bustle. There's a random Event happening every Day that I have to respond to with Items or based on my Attributes. The Items find themselves or are made, foolishly the Materials are rare and dependent on, and since we have my Problem at whatever game, luck. I need Luck that I have the right Item at Hand, I need Luck that enough Materials are found with Which Upgrades and Manufacturing are possible. And if you are wary of Injuries, only one First Aid Kit can exist in the Shuttle At the Same time. I can only make this If I upgrade the Fabricator (25 Energy good luck finding it) or I find it at one of the daily Random Events. Of course, you can find a Planet (takes place every Time) and land there. It is a matter of luck, however, whether the Captain (that is, I) survivor this unscathed. Depending on the character chosen, I don't do that. Like no First Aid kit? Achja I don't have 25 Energy for the Upgrade let alone material to build a Kit. Ok I send one of my Crew on an Expedition. On Planets, this goes. Oh it's almost starving because I don't have enough Material for new Food? Oh, he manages. Don't he, two further along are starved. I'm alone injured starving in the Shuttle. No more Expeditions are possible, because the Captain leaves the Ship only to a limited extent. A Day later, it got the Captain there and the Game is over. For example, the Game goes almost every Time, which I think makes it a product for Lovers of this Style of play. However, for Players who appreciate having a realistic Chance of playing such a Game as exhausting, I can't recommend it. Because after 3.5 Hours I am so crusted and bored that I uninstall it again because I have the Feeling of wasting my Time somehow. The good News: It costs only €15 so the Loss is only minor and doesn't bother me any further.
