A Ballad for the Underworld

"A Balled for the Underworld" concerns two fateful lovers whose time was cut too short. Orpheus, the son of Apollo, was a gifted musician who fell in love with a beautiful woman named Eurydice. After they married and lived happily together for a short time, Eurydice was bitten by a snake as they were walking through the grass one day and she died instantly. Now Orpheus makes his treacherous journey into the land of the dead, while Eurydice must travel through the caves of the Underworld so they can one day meet at the Gates of the Underworld and beg Hades, the God of the Dead, to bring her back to the living realm.
