A Duck Tail
About
A Duck Tail is a short 2d side-scrolling adventure game. Play as a duck navigating its way through an unfamiliar and everchanging world as it looks for water. There are 3 levels in the game with each featuring a varied landscape and obstacles.
Our game addresses the destruction of natural habitats by humans and the effect it has on the local wildlife. The duck is a common and very familiar animal, but is affected by the influence of humans, nonetheless.
Instructions
1. Reach the end of the level and find water in order to progress through the game.
2. Fruit gives the duck the ability to Double Jump, or "Fly", for a brief moment.
3. Thorns, holes, and poisonous smoke are all lethal to the duck.
4. Duck can climb up walls by pressing space on walls.
A - Move Left
D - Move Right
Spacebar - Jump
R - Restart Level
ESC - Quit Game
All art in the game is original and created by Gary Carrasco. Music for menu created by Vanessa Seymour. Other music and SFX were obtained from OpenGameArt.org with the music in level 1 and 3 created by SketchyLogic and "This Game Is Over" - Joseph Pueyo http://www.josephpueyo.com/
