A Game of Cards

Overview

A game submitted for the Game Makers Toolkit 2022 Game Jam on the theme 'Roll of the Dice'. Show your strategy in this digital card game by playing the card to beat what your opponent might (but might not) play. Think scissors papers rock, but with an epic shower of dice to break the ties. Play this game against the computer, or with a friend (or just watch the computer battle against itself). Its a relaxing and simple experience, however you choose to play.

How to play:

• Once in the game, press space to start after carefully considering both your hand and your opponents to determine their cards.
• When gameplay starts, choose your best card (take note of which suits beat which in the lower right corner of the screen) If playing with two people, take note of which Shift key you must press to view your cards, hidden to protect your opponent from peeking. Now, just hope to win.
• First player to lose all 5 lives, loses the game. You got this.

Supports Web, Windows and macOS (Sorry Linux). Please note that monitors wider than a 16:9 aspect ratio are not fully supported.
