A World So Strange

2004 was the year when I got my hands on a little RPG called Gothic. I was amazed by the atmosphere and the character progression system and has since been my favorite video game.
Now, after almost 20 years, I'm trying to recreate and share that feeling of nostalgia by developing A World So Strange, a 2D Pixel Art Action RPG heavily inspired by the classics.
This is just a prototype developed in the last 2 months so it will be buggy, things and features are missing, no save system yet (but for the 10 min of gameplay it shouldn't be a big deal), no magic system yet, missing sounds and animations, etc. So don't expect much, I just want you to get a general idea of the gameplay and atmosphere.

Known bugs:
- If you pick the Ladybug mushrooms before getting the quest "Ladybugs for the alchemist", the quest will not complete;
-After a reset the game will be in the pause state. Simply hit 'esc' twice to unpause it;
-After a reset while in the alchemist's house, the player will render on a lower layer and the footsteps sound like he's still inside the house. Go inside the house to fix this.
I will fix them in future builds but for now I just want you to be aware of them.
