About
Absent is a story which follows the character of young-adult and college student, Murray Schull. He and his two best friends, Eve and Steve, attend a college in which students are disappearing daily. It’s up to them to find out how this is happening, why this is happening, protect their other friends, and to put a stop to it once and for all.
This series of events began when Crystal, a three month girlfriend of Murray’s friend, Steve, disappeared on her way home from college via mysterious means. Over the course of the investigation, however, Murray realizes that the abduction of Steve’s girlfriend was not from anything of this earth. Murray is haunted by visions of the past and future, confronted with puzzles, with friends turning against each other, and all for one reason. The Reaper.

A nice Game for in between, if you have a few Hours and Hunger for relatively light Adventure foods. Even if the Plot is somewhat predisposed, it-if you have the Game through then-makes perfect sense. The Story doesn't actually Make sense until you get to the End, otherwise most of the time you're a bit confused about what all This is supposed to make for a Sense.
Pros:-Freeware-Dialogues are entertaining.
-no physical Violence in the Game-completely set to music-Puzzles are manageable Negatives:-Graphics and Animation you can see very much that it is more of a Hobby product.
-Some Things can only be found if you simply graze all the Hotspots.
-Steam Overlay (and Screenshot function etc) do not work with the Game.
All Around, though, the Game has made a positive Impression.

Absent is a Free Adventure.
The Game comes with an interesting Story about a Medium With Visions, Sensing Men and Time Travel. Betraying Too Much would be stupid here.
The Puzzles are OK in my Opinion, not too easy but also not really head-breaking either. But Depends On whether you play Adventures often or rather rarely.
The Graphics are not a Bang, but they don't have to. That was beside the point for Me at Adventures anyway. But this is purely subjective. The Game started with me only in Window Mode, but in the Forum it is described how to switch to Full Screen. Unfortunately, I noticed too late. But You May not get Full-screen achievements.
From the Duration Of the game I thought it was ok. It remains a Free Game And therefore does not have a really long Duration.
The Soundtrack is inversely coherent, music is even recorded And what really surprised me, the Game is fully set and has subtitles. A rare Feature for a Free Game. The Game is not available in German.
