Aethernauts - Beyond the Void

The theme of this jam is without . That is, create a game of a particular genre, but without a mechanic you would expect to find in that genre.

I decided to go with a space shooter where you can't die. In most space shooters, if you get hit too many times (or even once), you will die, forcing you to restart the level. In Aethernauts - Beyond the Void, your ship is indestructible! When you get hit, you become a ghost, and your goal becomes navigating back to your vessel.

Use the arrow keys to control the menus and move.

Use the space bar to shoot when in your ship, and to move around when you are a ghost.

Use the Esc. key to open the pause menu.
