Afterparty reviews

a lovely jaunt through hell
Hate to give a negative review to the authors of Oxenfree but this game seems made by an entire new team and it lacks the personality, quality and plain simply fun of playing it like the predecessor had.

The most annoying feature is the low technical polish, with constant stutters and the graphic settinsg stuck on the highest quality.

Second most annoying mechanic is the slow backtracking, paired with the absence of a quest-log to check where you have to go and what you have to do. You better dont put down the game for a longer period of time or you will have absolutely no clue what you where doing.
Didn't enjoy as much as Oxenfree, very few jokes were funny.
«Buggy as hell»
Music and visual design are pretty great and fits the setting, voice acting for almost all characters are exceptional. Even the dialogues feel natural and well written but the story never quite hits the mark. Definitely not worth full price but can be fun if you get it in deep deep sale.
I feel this would have been better as an animated movie.
