Age of Barbarian Extended Cut reviews

Update after previously negative Criticism: After a bumpy Start with many Mistakes that made Age of Barbarian unplayable, things are finally going round! And not only that, it's also really Fun! The Game reminds Me a little of Golden Axe and also of the old Prince of Persia (though it doesn't have its playful Depth). As a Barbarian or Barbarian, it is important to network as bloody as possible through Opponents. There are several Levels to trek through in this 2D Side-scroller, all of which come with an End Boss. In addition, there are alternative Ways in which, for example, you have to save and protect a Priestess. The Game brims with Nudity and Blood, just as it befits a decent Barbarians game. ;) Different Levels of difficulty offer a Challenge for any hobby barbarian. Atmospherically, exactly the wanted 80s charm was hit. The Animations seem minimalist, the fighting and Death Noises are constantly repeated, but don't really get annoying. The Story is quite shallow, but what's it!? ^^ I find the Background Graphics and animated Cutscenes, the Background sound and the music that occasionally sets in are great. The Speaker Voice is absolutely appropriate for The Setting. Somewhat hakely are still the Combos in Combat, at least with Keyboard. It's Not always the Combat Action you want. Nevertheless, Swirling Through Opponents works out pretty well. Age of Barbarian is a nice Game for Nostalgists in between. For me, it plays like a Game from earlier with puffed Up graphics. The small Weaknesses that (still exist) are ironed out again by the Fun. At the Price, a clear Buy recommendation!

What a Game;p 80s Sword and Soccery Style-Hack And Slash Game. The Game is a 2D Sidescroller In which You play either THE barbarians or THE Barbarin. The Depiction of Character is not always youth-free (so never) and the Degree of Violence is exorbitantly high, but that's not bad, is it? :D The Story is not deep but very beautifully presented. The Handling of the Game is very good when you have understood the Mechanics (again ^ ^). It's played through quite quickly, but if you want to have all the Achievements you have to put a little more Effort into it. The Whole thing has now taken about 13 hours with 100% Achievements. This is sometimes entertaining and pleasant. I played exclusively with the XBOX One Controller and at some point found that playing better with the Control Cross (when it gets hairy, as with the Dragon, for example) than with the analog stick. If You're on the Set and you Fancy a Trip to the good old Game Mechanics, opened up in a wonderful Conan Welt ala Robert E.
