Air Conflict: Vietnam POSITIVES + Vietnam setting + matching Music of the time + German Setting + as well as in Air Conflict: Pacific Carriers can be switched between individual Aircraft (Helicopters, Jets, Bombers) during the Mission + for the first time also Use of Helicopters in the Air Conflict Series + diverse Missions + about 20 Aircraft and Helicopters + rocket camera NEGATIVES-the same Bug as in all Air Conflicrs games that is right at the beginning in the configuration menu, only with lower Resolution (after all, already 1920x1080, with the two Predecessors the maximum resolution was even lower) can play if you do not solve and edit the Problem in the Confic File itself (on 2560x1440); From the Steam forum and also under a Gamestar Article from the Comments it is clear that I am not the only one who had this Problem (the same Bug in three Games!)-Intro and all The Cutscenes visibly low dissolved-Graphics of the Ground Textures and what Won there, even in the highest Settings, is simply too bad for a 2013 Game; But I rather suspect that there's something broken in the graphics setting menu, because that definitely doesn't look an 8-fold Edge Smoothing-Font Size in the Options far too big, So everything embarrassingly overlaps-game jerks with Jets noticeably on a Hi-end PC of 2016 (!) and looks Nevertheless worse off than the Predecessors-map limit is reached far too quickly (in about 10 Seconds!) with the Jet, i.e. the Maps are too small and also visible for the first time, which is very disturbing-everywhere Damn shit fog-bad helicopter control- Evasive Movements of the Helicopter are ridiculously fast and also look the same-Side-MG fires without seeing Hands on the Weapon, which looks strange-Sides MG is about like Shooting Mohrchicken, the Opponents DON't even move and just fire- Estuary fire of the page MG often Suspends-very weak To no Penetrating power of the On-board MG against Anti-aircraft guns-Plumping AI opponents (?)-Stupidity of your own AI wingmen-Vietnamese speak Japanese (!)-Multiplayer is dead FAZIT
I Usually play through all my Games, but after an Hour I just didn't want to keep playing that Crap. This War is definitely lost. Fingers off!

This Game only cost me €4, but it earned me some at least sometimes funny Hours of gameplay. I didn't let the Reviews get discouraged here and I wanted to try it out on my own. First of all, I would explain a little more about the Air Fights, which, once you have understood it, are simple, almost too simple and are sometimes just annoying. But Since the Game obviously whistles at any Form of Realism, this is not supposed to matter that way. Next, I dedicate myself to the ground attack missions that once again Demonstrate the Nonsense of this Game, so a fully loaded F4 phantom can almost turn on the Spot and Lose Neither height nor speed. Even the Helicopter Missions are not really good so I have once again swung into the Cockpit of the AH-1 and wooed on Vietcong which gave the Part but swoupps! Mission failed! Don'T shoot at Civilians! (Attention Irony) My Komentar in The Teamspek was just: What? But I'm the US after all?! That is how we always do it! What was there for a laugh in the Teamspeak Channel. Such Moments almost make the Game a Laughing Stock, but more later. So last but not least to the Old Missionary Design. The Missions are very varied, except in a Mission called Operation Rolling Thunder 2. There you grab 5! Sometimes with a B52 Industry and others and will be 3! Once attacked by North Vietnamese Jets. DIes is not only tiring but also annoying. So now enough I come to the Conclusion. In General, this Game is quite well done it is as some of the Previous Speakers have written; Well thought, bad gamacht. I fully sign this. Last but not least, some of the Nonsense makes the Game a Laughing Stock: The biggest Mistake here is The dIe ZSU Flaks that have stood almost everywhere, not even on one of my Planes shot up, but apparently were just explosive Decoration. (Sometimes apart from the American Tanks that looked like Sherman'S But were supposed to be apparent Patton's)
Final verdict: I advise everyone to buy this Game for the Price here on Steam, it's simply not worth the Money. Wait for the Sale or go to Saturn or other consorts and buy it there for a maximum of €5, even if you have been as insane as I have. It is worth it for about 6-7 Arcade Hours Spel (fun).
