Algo Bot
About
Deep inside the Europa, a pan-galactic colonization ship, the sleeping crew dreams about their new life on the far side of the galaxy.
But there can be no rest for Algo Bot, a service droid working on the junk deck. When a routine recycling mission with cantankerous line manager PAL goes horribly wrong, crisis strikes at the very heart of the Europa.
Unless PAL and Algo Bot can restore the Europa's systems and recover the shipboard AI quickly, there'll be no waking up for anyone.
As the player, you will take the role of the operator and use a visual programming language to issue a sequence of commands to Algo Bot. Will you manage to solve all the puzzles?

Nice little "Programmer" game.
You control a small Robot using simple Commands (forward, left, right, flip, pick up Box, Discard box, press buzzer, etc.) on a predetermined Path from Start to Finish. Several Commands can be merged into one Command to save Individual Commands and keep the Chain of Command as short as possible, because there are only a limited Number of Command places that can be used.
In the first Levels, you Usually have to pick up a Box from a Conveyor belt and then put it back on another Conveyor belt. Then you steer the Robot through the Target and the Level is done. This is very simple and graphic as well as very amusing from the Story point of view. Levels are becoming increasingly difficult and demanding. I'm excited to see what else to expect in the next Levels ...
Thumbs up for a nice Pastime in between ...

Algo bot ▸ short video version available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVaJQrk2pfU&feature=youtu.be Algo bot is a title that has the particularity of being a simple way to grasp the basics of algorithmic. We feel here although it is the developers of Epistory since the latter had already had the virtue of learning the typing to his players, or even to consolidate this concept.
In order to complete this title, you will have to arm yourself with patience and logical thinking since you will only deal with algorithmic puzzles. The aim is to bring the algo bot from point a to point B while making it take action on the way. Unfortunately this Algo bot being a first generation robot, you will need to program it at every step. First, starting with simple manipulations such as "forward", "rotate" or "flip face". And then the more you move forward, the more you discover new techniques or rather new algorithmic notions. In this case, you will have, among other things, functions and conditions, and that says function called recursion.
Altogether 46 puzzles all quite interesting and allowing to tackle quite a few points in an easy way, although it is necessary to dig the brain. Algo bot is definitely an excellent game to start the algorithmic. Some compare it with human resource machine.
As for the embedding, IE the graphics, the soundtrack and the script, well we saw worse. Indeed Algo bot is quite pleasant in all these points although it is fairly quickly visible that the scenario is not its strong point. It is indeed said that the game brings a little touch of humor but it is quite weak, although pleasant. The soundtrack is not intrusive and allows quite to think without having unpleasant music in the ears. And at the level of the graphics, one is served on the 3D, and frankly I have nothing to say on this point.
